eCommerce Supply Chain Manager (Amazon FBA & D2C)
Confidential employer
READ THIS FIRST ##
We're a fast-growing 7-figure car-care brand from Germany, selling mostly on Amazon (FBA) across the EU plus our own D2C store. Our founder has run the entire supply chain himself until now — we're handing it over. You'll become the person who owns our daily supply chain operations.
This is a real ownership role, not a task list for a junior VA — but it's also hands-on, brand-side operations for OUR OWN Amazon business. Not agency, consulting, or client-support supply chain, and not a role where you manage a team: you own the work and do it yourself.
We're moving onto professional inventory-planning software that handles the heavy calculations, so a big part of the job is running the process, checking the outputs, and executing — reliably and independently. You'll still use spreadsheets here and there and handle plenty of work outside the tool, so you need to be comfortable with numbers and data — but you won't be building complex spreadsheet models.
APPLY ONLY IF ALL OF THESE ARE TRUE:
- 3+ years in e-commerce supply chain / inventory management, in FULL-TIME roles
- Hands-on AMAZON FBA & SELLER CENTRAL experience at a sizeable seller / brand doing SEVERAL MILLION+ in annual revenue, in a full-time role
- You've operated an inventory planning / replenishment tool (Inventory Planner, SoStocked, or similar) OR a large ERP like SAP / Oracle
- Excellent written English
- Detail-oriented, structured, and comfortable working with numbers and data
- Happy as a hands-on individual contributor who owns the work end-to-end — this is NOT a team-lead role
- A stable, high-speed internet connection reliable enough for daily video calls, and a quiet, focused place to work
- Available full-time, long-term, with at least a few hours of daily overlap with German business hours (CET)
If that's you, read on.
ABOUT US ##
A German premium car-care brand with ~200 SKUs. ~80% of sales run through Amazon (FBA) with additional bundles via a 3PL; ~20% through our own online store. We're a small, focused team, and we're expanding into new EU marketplaces over the next 12 months. We use AI tools for data aggregation and the repetitive work — but the smart decisions stay with the human running the process. That'll be you.
THE ROLE ##
You'll be the daily operator of our inventory-planning tool and own the process end-to-end. Onboarding is hands-on and directly from the founder. We're still building out our SOPs, so you'll help document and improve the processes as we go — you should enjoy creating structure, not just following it. Once you're up to speed, you run it yourself and escalate decisions back to the founder if needed.
WHAT YOU'LL DO ##
- Demand forecasting: review and maintain SKU-level forecasts (seasonal products), apply manual overrides for promotions, growth, and new launches
- Purchasing: turn replenishment recommendations into POs to suppliers in Asia and Europe
- Component planning: ensure components we supply to our contract manufacturers ship on time for scheduled production
- Amazon FBA replenishment: review/approve weekly FBA transfers per marketplace, create and finalize shipments in Seller Central, monitor inbound
- PO tracking: monitor open POs, keep landed-cost and payment data current, export payment data for finance
- Stock monitoring: watch coverage and stockout / overstock risk across all locations (FBA EU, 3PL, manufacturer)
- Master data: keep lead times, MOQs, costs, weights/volumes, BOMs accurate
- Communication: coordinate with suppliers, manufacturers, and our 3PL — mostly in English. A few suppliers may communicate partly in German; we'll support that with AI translation, so German is not required.
WHAT WE OFFER ##
- $1,500–1,800 USD / month, based on experience — full-time, long-term
- 100% remote, flexible hours, no graveyard shift (some overlap with CET)
- Direct collaboration with the founder, real ownership, and modern tools
- Hands-on onboarding from the founder, and the freedom to shape our processes as we build them out
- Paid time off, long-term stability, room to grow as the brand expands
- Start date: asap 2026
HOW TO APPLY ##
To show us you read the whole post, START YOUR APPLICATION WITH THE WORD: STOCK-READY
Then answer these briefly:
1. For which Amazon seller(s) did you handle supply chain / inventory — roughly how many SKUs, what annual revenue, and was it a full-time role?
2. Describe one supply chain decision you made ENTIRELY ON YOUR OWN that went beyond routine execution. What did you d ---------- , and what was the outcome?
3. Which inventory planning / replenishment tools or ERPs have you operated, and for how long? Also: your written English level, earliest possible start date, and expected monthly salary.
4. Confirm your work setup: how reliable is your internet for daily video calls (rough speed / any backup), and is your workspace quiet and free of distractions?
Attach your updated CV. Applications that don't start with the codeword, or that skip the questions, won't be considered.
Thank you for your interest!
