Travel Sales & Client Support Specialist

KNB Travel is looking for a dependable, personable, and detail-oriented Travel Sales & Client Support Specialist to join our team.
This position combines warm-lead follow-up, travel research, and client support. We are specifically interested in candidates who have previous experience working with a travel advisor, travel agency, tour operator, or other travel-related company.
This is not a general virtual assistant position. You will communicate directly with prospective and existing KNB Travel clients, so strong communication skills, professionalism, reliability, and excellent spoken English are essential.
Schedule
- Monday – 3 hours
- Wednesday – 3 hours
- Friday – 3 hours
- 9 hours per week
- $5 USD per hour
- Scheduled hours will be worked during agreed-upon U.S. Eastern Time hours.
Warm Lead Follow-Up & Sales Support
- Call warm leads who have already expressed interest in KNB Travel trips and services
- Follow up with prospective travelers by phone, email , and text
- Build rapport and answer basic questions about our trips
- Consistently follow up with leads who have not yet booked
- Identify prospective clients who are ready to move forward
- Maintain detailed notes on conversations and next steps
You must be comfortable and confident making outbound telephone calls to U.S.-based warm leads.
Travel Research & FIT Support
- Research hotels, flights, transfers, private transportation, tours, restaurants, and experiences
- Assist with research for customized/FIT vacations
- Compare options based on the client's preferences, budget, location, quality, reviews, and overall experience
- Present research in a clear and organized format
- Assist with itinerary and proposal preparation as assigned
Client Support
- Assist with routine customer service for FIT clients
- Follow up with clients for required information and documents
- Send payment, information, and deadline reminders as assigned
- Respond to routine client questions
- Maintain accurate and organized client records
- Escalate issues that require the travel advisor's attention
Qualifications
- Previous experience with a travel advisor, travel agency, tour operator, or travel-related company is strongly preferred
- Excellent spoken and written English
- Comfortable making outbound telephone calls
- Friendly, confident, and professional telephone presence
- Strong travel research skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Reliable and punctual
- Able to work independently and follow through on assignments
- Comfortable communicating with U.S.-based travelers
Experience with TravelJoy, KEAP, CRM systems, itinerary software, or other travel-industry platforms is a plus.
