WE’RE HIRING: VIDEO EDITOR

Full-Time | Work From Home | Philippines

I’m looking for a creative, fast and reliable Video Editor to join our team.

I’ll be producing the raw footage.

Your job is to take that footage and turn it into high-quality YouTube videos and short-form Reels that people actually want to watch.

WHAT YOU’LL BE EDITING

YouTube Videos

• Approx. 15 to 20 minute finished videos
• Talking-head and educational content
• Strong hooks and pacing
• Clean cuts
• B-roll
• On-screen text
• Graphics and visual callouts
• Music and sound effects where appropriate
• Zooms, punch-ins and pattern interrupts
• Simple diagrams or visuals to help explain concepts

The goal is NOT over-edited YouTube content.

I want videos that feel natural, fast-moving, interesting and personality-led.

Reels / Short-Form Content

• Turn raw footage and YouTube content into short-form videos
• Find the strongest hooks and moments
• Edit vertical 9:16
• Add captions and on-screen text
• Keep the pacing tight
• Create multiple pieces of content from longer footage

YOUR ROLE

I don’t want to have to tell you where every cut should go.

I want an editor who can watch the raw footage, understand the story and make good creative decisions.

You should be able to think:

“This section is too slow.”

“This needs a visual here.”

“That sentence would make a great Reel.”

“We should cut this completely.”

You’ll work closely with me and our existing marketing and design team.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

You need to:

• Have proven experience editing YouTube videos
• Be excellent at short-form/Reels editing
• Understand retention, hooks and pacing
• Have strong English comprehension
• Understand storytelling, not just video editing
• Be confident working with raw talking-head footage
• Be able to create simple graphics and visual explanations
• Have excellent attention to detail
• Meet deadlines consistently
• Take feedback without needing the same feedback twice
• Be proactive and organised
• Be comfortable working as part of a remote team

SOFTWARE

You should be highly confident using professional video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve or equivalent.

Experience with tools like CapCut, Canva and AI editing tools is also useful.

IMPORTANT

This is not a freelance gig.

We’re looking for someone who wants to become a long-term member of our team.

We have a large team based in the Philippines, and many of our team members have been with us for 5+ years.
