Audit Associate – Singapore Clients | Fully Remote

About the Role

We are looking for an Audit Associate to join our team and work on audit engagements for Singapore-based companies across various industries.

This role is suitable for someone with external audit experience who is looking to build a long-term career in audit and gain broader exposure to Singapore clients, accounting standards and audit practices.

You will work closely with Seniors and Managers and be involved in the execution and documentation of audit engagements.

Key Responsibilities
1. Perform audit procedures for Singapore companies across various industries.
2. Perform control testing, analytical procedures and substantive testing of details.
3. Prepare and maintain clear and complete audit working papers, including the purpose, procedures performed and conclusions reached.
4. Assist clients with the preparation of financial statements in accordance with Singapore Financial Reporting Standards (SFRS).
5. Conduct compliance procedures relating to Anti-Money Laundering (AML) / Countering the Financing of Terrorism (CFT) for existing and new clients.
6. Communicate with clients and follow up on outstanding audit information when required.
7. Work closely with Seniors and Managers throughout the audit engagement.
8. Take ownership of assigned audit tasks and complete work within agreed timelines.
9. Support the team on other audit-related matters as required.

What We're Looking For
1. Degree in Accounting, ACCA or other relevant accounting disciplines.
2. At least 1 year of external audit experience preferred.
3. Strong interest in building a long-term career in audit.
4. Good understanding of basic audit principles and accounting concepts.
5. Good written and verbal English communication skills.
6. Able to work effectively in a fully remote environment.
7. Responsible, organised and able to manage multiple assignments.
8. Able to work independently while knowing when to seek guidance.
9. Proactive and willing to ask questions and learn.
10. Good team player with a positive and hardworking attitude.

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related discipline (Required)
