📌 Job Description
We are a precast concrete company based in New Zealand. We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented AutoCAD Draftsman to assist our Industrial/Product Designer with construction drawings and project work. Your main role will be to create and refine drawings based on design concepts and ensure accuracy in material quantities such as concrete and steel. This role will start as project-based work, with the opportunity to grow into long-term part-time work (approx. 20 hours/week) for the right candidate.

🛠️ Responsibilities
Create construction drawings from design/price drawings
Refine and update drawings with accuracy and attention to detail
Ensure correct concrete volume and steel/material quantities
Work closely with the designer to support ongoing projects
Deliver tasks on time and follow instructions carefully

✅ Requirements
Proficient in AutoCAD
Experience in construction or structural drafting
Strong attention to detail, especially in measurements and quantities
Knowledge of concrete and steel/material estimation
Able to follow instructions and translate designs into technical drawings
Reliable and responsive

⭐ Nice to Have
Experience with Tekla Structures or other BIM software
Background in construction, engineering, or related field
Experience supporting a designer or working in a team

PAYMENT
> Paid per project or hourly (to be agreed per job)
> Typical range: $5–$12 USD/hour equivalent (based on performance and output)
