SOLAR & TECHNICAL MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN

Location: Port Vila, Vanuatu

About the role:

We are looking for an experienced and hands-on EcoFlow Solar & Technical Maintenance Technician to join our team in Vanuatu.
The person will lead and be responsible for solar installations, maintenance, troubleshooting, and working with different tools, machinery, and equipment. This is a practical, hands-on role that requires someone who can work independently and solve technical problems on-site.

Key Responsibilities
Solar Installation & Maintenance

• Install, configure, and troubleshoot solar PV systems
• Install and maintain solar panels, inverters, batteries, and wiring
• Conduct system testing, inspection, and commissioning
• Diagnose and resolve solar and electrical faults
• Carry out preventive maintenance and safety inspections

Tools, Machinery & Equipment

• Install, assemble, operate, and maintain tools, machinery, and equipment (cement mixers, generators, pumps, power tools, etc.)
• Inspect equipment to ensure safe, proper working condition
• Diagnose mechanical and technical faults; perform repairs
• Identify damaged/faulty equipment and recommend repair or replacement
• Maintain accurate records of inspections, repairs, and maintenance

Requirements

• 5+ years of relevant hands-on experience in solar installation, electrical, mechanical, or technical maintenance
• Preferably, a male applicant aged 25-40 years old.
• TESDA certification, technical diploma, or equivalent relevant qualification
• Strong practical knowledge of solar and electrical systems
• Hands-on experience with tools, machinery, and equipment (cement mixers, generators, pumps, power tools)
• Valid Driver's License with confident driving skills
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving ability
• Physically fit; comfortable working on-site and at heights
• Willing to relocate to and work in Vanuatu
• With good communications skills (English)

Preferred Experience

• Direct experience with solar panels, inverters, and batteries
• Prior overseas work experience
• Electrical/solar-specific certification
