About the Role

MUST BE AVAILABLE TO WORK US EASTERN TIMEZONE

US-based Telehealth brand. Weight loss, Longevity, beauty, and aesthetic products

We are LegitScript certified and approved to advertise on Meta and Google. Experienced healthcare marketers will understand this importance. Founder-led, small, fast. You report directly to the founder.

THE ROLE

You will be the marketing lead. What we say, who we say it to, where it runs, and what the website needs to do to convert the traffic is led by this role. You report directly to the founder and CEO with a strategy . You pitch, he signs off, you execute with the resources available (graphic designer, Web developer + Ad spend account).

You will have access to two roles providing resources to you:

1. Graphic designer: Creates graphics and edits video for your campaign
2. Web Specialist: Builds and deploys pages you think will maximize conversion

Your Responsibilities:

Market research and strategy

1. Research our market: competitors, how they position and advertise, where the gaps are, what our audience actually responds to.
2. Build a marketing strategy from that research and pitch it to the CEO for sign-off - channels, budget split, positioning, targets, timeline, and the reasoning behind each.
3. Once signed off, you own executing it
4. Revisit and re-pitch quarterly, or sooner when the data says the strategy is wrong. Telling us the plan isn't working is part of the job, not a failure.
5.Maintain the angle bank: a running list of campaign concepts to test, ranked by expected impact

Campaign concepts and directing the creative team

1.Develop the concept: audience, message, hook, format
2. Write a one-page creative brief for each: reference examples, format specs, claim boundaries
3.Write all ad copy, headlines and hooks
4. You are accountable for the quality of what our Creative Producer ships. Everything they produce must be high quality, on brand, and aligned to the signed-off strategy - if it isn't, that's yours to fix.
4. You have the authority to reject work, request revisions and set deadlines for the creative team.
5. Hold the brand guidelines. If work drifts off-brand, you catch it before it ships, not after.

Media buying - Meta and Google

1. Build, launch and manage campaigns on both platforms
2. Audience research, targeting, exclusions, lookalikes
3. Full-funnel structure: prospecting, retargeting, retention
4. Own daily and monthly spend against agreed targets

Conversion direction

1. Specify what our landing pages and key site pages need to do to convert: what a visitor sees first, what order sections run in, what to cut, where the CTA sits and why
2. Brief the Web Specialist, who builds it
3. Where you two disagree: you own the conversion intent, they own the implementation and can override on technical grounds like page speed or breakage. Escalate to the founder if it can't be resolved — but that should be rare.

Creator and UGC partnerships
1. Build a vetted list of micro-creators (roughly 1,000-5,000 followers) in health, fitness, longevity, wellness and beauty
2. Outreach using approved templates, manage replies, coordinate gifting and shipping
3. Secure paid usage and whitelisting rights up front, not just gifting terms. A creator who agreed to one organic post has not agreed to let us run their face as an ad.
4. Run the best creator content as partnership ads and Spark Ads from the creator's own handle
5. Raw footage goes to the Creative Producer, who cuts it into ad assets for you
6. Score the creator channel on CAC the same way you score paid

Testing and reporting

1. Structured testing: one variable, a stated hypothesis, a success metric
2.One weekly written report to the CEO: spend, CAC, ROAS, CTR, conversion rate, what changed, what's next
3. A monthly review against the signed-off strategy: what's on track, what isn't, what you're changing
4. Honest reporting. We would much rather hear "this isn't working and here's why" than watch a number get spun.

Compliance
1. Keep every campaign inside healthcare advertising policy and our written claim guidelines
2. Ensure every creator partnership is properly disclosed under FTC rules. We are liable for what our creators say, so enforcing this is your job.
3. Protect the ad account. It is a hard-won asset.

What you are NOT responsible for

Designing graphics or editing video - the Creative Producer
Writing or deploying code - the Web Specialist
Blog posts, newsletters, product page copy - the founder
Medical or product claims - the founder sets those boundaries; you are responsible for staying within them.

Important - please read

Healthcare advertising is not normal advertising. Certification lets us run ads; it does not make approvals automatic or creative latitude wide. Campaigns get disapproved, copy gets rejected, costs run higher than in unregulated categories.

Performance bonus: paid monthly on new customers acquired at or below our target CAC, above a minimum spend threshold. Realistic total comp at target is $1,600-$1,800/month, with no cap if you significantly outperform.
We will agree the exact targets with you in writing in your first two weeks, before the bonus period starts.
30-day paid trial, then permanent

We have structured it this way deliberately. If you are confident in your ability to move numbers, you will earn more here than a flat salary elsewhere.

What to include in your application:

  • Access to a portfolio of design examples from prior work (ads, web, marketing email s etc) (ideally in relevant category
  • Google / meta account ad success
