Full-Stack React Developer (Next.js, Supabase, Stripe) + AI Video & Image Generation — Remote, Full-Time
Job Type: Full-Time | Setup: 100% Remote (Work From Home) | Schedule: Flexible hours Salary: Negotiable — based on experience and portfolio
Build the storefront. Then make the content that sells on it.
Most developer jobs hand you a ticket queue. This one hands you a brief and gets out of your way.
We're a direct-to-consumer romance fiction publisher. We sell our books ourselves, which means our website is our business — and the trailers, key art and reels that fill it are what move copies. Right now that's two separate jobs. We'd rather it were one talented person.
If you can ship a fast Next.js storefront and direct an AI-generated book trailer that actually looks good, you're exactly who we're looking for. That combination is rare, and we pay for it.
What makes this worth your time:
100% remote, permanent — work from anywhere in the Philippines, no office, no commute
Flexible schedule — we care about what you ship, not when you're online
Negotiable salary based on your actual skill — show us the work, name your rate
Real ownership — you own the site, the stack and the media output end-to-end
AI-first team — we use Claude Code and Cursor daily and we want you moving fast
Long-term role — this is an ongoing position, not a one-off project
What You'll Do
Website & Front-End Development
Build storefronts, series pages, author pages, preorder and launch pages in React and Next.js
Work with the App Router and server components — current practice, not legacy patterns
Style with Tailwind CSS, mobile-first, with enough design sense that we're not art-directing every page
Full-Stack & E-Commerce
Own the backend: PostgreSQL / Supabase, authentication, API routes and deployments
Build and maintain checkout, payments, subscriptions and digital product delivery
Integrate and troubleshoot Stripe or Paystack payment flows
AI Video & Image Production
Produce book trailers, character reels, key art, cover variations and social cutdowns
Generate video with tools like Veo, Sora, Kling, Seedance or Runway
Generate images with Midjourney, Flux, Nano Banana or ComfyUI
Keep character faces and wardrobe consistent across a shot sequence; direct lighting and composition rather than accepting the first output
Edit and assemble generated footage into a finished, polished clip
Pace
We ship fast and often. Expect to produce several variations of something rather than one perfect version — then move on once it's good.
Note: Marketing campaigns are planned and run in-house. You're building and producing, not running ads.
What You Need
Development
Strong hands-on React and Next.js experience (App Router, server components)
Full-stack capability: Postgres/Supabase, auth, API routes, deployments
At least one payment integration you've actually shipped — Stripe or Paystack — that real customers have paid through
Tailwind CSS and a good eye for clean, modern layout
Comfortable working daily with AI dev tools (Claude Code, Cursor, Copilot or similar)
AI Media
Real, demonstrable experience with generative video tools — Veo, Sora, Kling, Seedance, Runway, whichever you know best
Same with generative image tools — Midjourney, Flux, Nano Banana, ComfyUI
Ability to maintain character consistency across a set of generated shots
Enough video editing skill to cut generated output into a finished clip
Working Style
Self-directed — you can take a brief and run with it without daily check-ins
Clear written English for async communication
Reliable internet and your own working computer
Nice to have (not required — apply anyway if you're missing these):
Previous e-commerce work, especially with digital products
Familiarity with BookTok, Kindle Unlimited, and how covers and trailers perform in that space
Stronger editing chops: color grading, cutting to music, sound design
About Us
We're an independent direct-to-consumer romance fiction publisher. We write it, we package it, and we sell it straight to readers from our own site — no middlemen, no waiting on a retailer's algorithm. That model only works if the site is fast and the visuals are strong, which is why this role matters as much as it does.
We're a small team that moves quickly, leans heavily on AI tooling, and cares more about output than process theater.
Why Work With Us
You'll actually own something. The site is yours. The media pipeline is yours. No committee.
We move fast and we don't block you. Brief in, work out. No standup marathons.
We're AI-native, not AI-nervous. Use every tool that makes you faster. That's the point.
Two skills, one paycheck — priced accordingly. Developers who can also direct generative media are rare, and our offer reflects that.
Permanent, remote, flexible. Build a long-term role around your own schedule.
Direct access to decision-makers. You'll work with the people who own the business.
How to Apply — Read This Part
We read every application that follows these steps. Applications that skip them get passed over.
Send us:
Your portfolio or GitHub — at least one live site you built with React/Next.js
One payment integration you shipped — which processor, and what you handled
AI media samples — a trailer, reel, or set of generated images you directed (a Drive or YouTube link is fine)
Your expected monthly rate in PHP
Subject line: FULLSTACK + AI MEDIA — [Your Name]
Bonus (moves you to the top of the pile): a 60-second Loom walking us through one generated video you made and the choices you made to get it there.
Ready? Apply now — ----------
We're reviewing applications as they come in and interviewing on a rolling basis. If you're the rare developer who can build the store and make the content, we want to talk this week.
