About the Role

TO APPLY: one voice clip plus your numbers. Instructions at the bottom. No clip, no review.

US life insurance agency hiring a full-time appointment setter to follow up with clients we helped in the past year and book their first-year policy review with our licensed agents. You book the appointment. You don't sell, quote, or advise.

Full time from day one. Four-week paid trial, then a long-term role for the right person. If you want easy hours, this isn't it. If you're the kind of caller who's always pushing for one more appointment, keep reading.

These are our clients with active policies, but some won't remember our name and some will be short with you as they are older. You need to handle objections without being pushy.

Requirements:

  • Neutral or near-neutral accent. Americans over 60 must understand you easily on the phone. This is the number one requirement
  • Proven outbound or appointment setting experience with US customers
  • Split shift: 9am to 1pm and 3pm to 7pm US Eastern, Monday to Friday. That is 9pm to 1am and 3am to 7am Manila. Don't apply if you can't work it
  • Fast internet, quiet space, quality headset

Pay:

  • $8/hour base, about $1,400/month
  • $5 for every appointment that shows
  • Raise to $10/hour at 90 days for strong performance
  • Paid twice a month

HOW TO APPLY:

1. Record one clip at ---------- and paste the link. Two parts:

Part 1, read this exactly:

"Hi, is this Robert? Hey Robert, this is [your name]. I was reaching out to you about the Mutual Of Omaha Policy we helped you with in June of last year. I'm following up with everyone we helped, for two things. First, did you get your policy packet in the mail from Mutual of Omaha?"

Part 2, no script, in your own words. Pretend Robert just heard Part 1 and answered: "I don't know who you are, and I'm not interested." Handle that the way you would on a real call, and finish by asking him for a day and time for the appointment. Keep it under 30 seconds.

2. Your best month in a previous calling role: dials per day, appointments or sales, and what you were calling about. Be specific.
