About the Role

Hi!

I am looking for a long-term YouTube video editor, who can help me edit documentary-style long-form videos.

The videos will generally be around 25–30 minutes long.

I will provide:

  • Full voiceover
  • Full script
  • Background music
  • Detailed editing instructions

Your job is mainly to find the necessary visual assets and edit everything together into the finished video.

You should be comfortable working with:

  • Stock footage and B-roll (MUST TO HAVE: Paid Platforms)
  • Product images and close-ups
  • Documents, articles and studies
  • Simple text animations and graphics
  • Sound effects
  • Zooms, pans and other movement on still images
  • Following detailed editing instructions

Important: I need someone who can consistently deliver 1 completed video every 2 days.

This is a long-term position with regular work available.

Payment: $20 per completed video

I am paying per video, not per hour.

Before hiring, I will provide you with the editing brief and materials for a 1-minute sample edit, so I can see whether your editing style fits the channel.

If you have read this entire post, start your application by telling me your favorite food.

Please also include examples of long-form YouTube videos you have edited before.

If you do not send the requested sample, I will not be able to consider your application.

Looking forward to hearing from you!
