About the Role
Job Overview:
The Site Engineer is responsible for supervising construction activities and ensuring that all works are carried out in accordance with approved plans, specifications, and safety standards. The role involves technical oversight, site coordination, and quality control to support successful project delivery.
Job Descriptions:
- Oversee daily site activities, ensuring all work is performed in accordance with project specifications, schedules, and quality standards, while coordinating with site teams to maintain smooth operations.
- Monitor manpower deployment, equipment utilization, and material consumption to ensure efficient resource management, cost control, and alignment with project schedules
- Ensure all project activities comply with established safety, quality, and environmental standards, promoting a safe and sustainable work environment.
- Coordinate closely with Project Managers to ensure timely execution of site works, facilitating smooth communication and efficient workflow on-site.
- Conduct regular site inspections to ensure proper implementation of approved construction methods, maintaining quality, safety, and adherence to project specifications.
- Identify potential technical issues on-site and recommend corrective actions to prevent delays, ensure quality, and maintain compliance with project standards.
- Report daily project progress, site issues, and key accomplishments to the Project Manager, ensuring accurate and timely communication for effective project monitoring and decision-making.
- Collaborate with Project Managers, Planning, Procurement, and Design teams to address project requirements, ensure alignment across functions, and facilitate smooth execution on-site.
- Capture and document daily before-and-after photos of each workstation to track progress, verify work quality, and support project reporting. Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports, documenting work completed, site conditions, and any issues encountered to support project tracking and reporting.
- Conduct quality inspections at all project stages and prepare Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs).
- Ensure as-built drawings and technical documentation are properly maintained.
- Verify site measurements and assist in preparing billings and estimates.
- Support in ensuring that permits, inspections, and safety requirements are updated.
- Prepares estimate for all material requirements every two (2) weeks.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Industrial Engineering or equivalent.
- Licensed Civil Engineer is advantageous.
- At least 1–3 years of relevant experience in project coordination, admin support, or PMO environment.
- Proficient in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and project management tools (e.g., Notion, MS Project, Planswift, Sketchup, Autocad).
- Knowledge of construction processes and PMI methodologies is a plus
