Social Media & Content VA – Hair, Beauty & Personal Brand

Hi! I’m looking for a creative, reliable and highly detail-focused Social Media & Content VA to support my salon, education and personal brand.

I already have a strong brand identity, aesthetic and overall creative direction, so I’m looking for someone who can work closely with me to take my raw content and ideas and turn them into polished, engaging social media — while also helping me grow my platforms, increase reach and attract new followers.

I’m ideally looking for someone I can build a long-term working relationship with.

What you’ll be helping with:

• Editing Instagram Reels and short-form video content
• Editing using CapCut and/or Instagram Edits
• Posting all Instagram content through the Edits app
• Adding strong hooks, text overlays, transitions, trending audio and engaging elements
• Creating elevated Canva carousels, stories and graphics
• Repurposing existing content across Instagram and TikTok
• Writing captions in my tone of voice
• Scheduling and posting content consistently
• Organising content folders and keeping the whole content process streamlined
• Researching trending audio, content formats and ideas
• Keeping an eye on what is currently performing within the hair, beauty and lifestyle space
• Helping develop content ideas specifically designed to increase reach, engagement and follower growth
• Looking at analytics and identifying which content is performing best
• Suggesting ways we can improve content and continue growing the accounts

About the brands:

My content sits across hair, beauty, business, education and lifestyle.

The overall aesthetic is elevated, feminine, modern and premium, while still feeling personal, relatable and engaging.

Experience creating content for hair salons, beauty brands, fashion, influencers, educators or personal brands would be a huge advantage.

I’m looking for someone who:

• Has excellent short-form video editing skills
• Is confident using Instagram Edits
• Is confident using CapCut
• Is confident using Canva
• Understands Instagram and TikTok
• Understands what makes people stop scrolling, watch, engage and follow
• Has a genuine interest in social media growth
• Can identify trends without making the content feel generic
• Can follow an established aesthetic and creative direction
• Has a very good eye for detail
• Is organised and reliable
• Communicates well
• Can work independently and take initiative
• Is comfortable suggesting new ideas and opportunities for growth

This will be an ongoing part-time role, initially around 10–15 hours per week, however I’m flexible depending on the right person and the amount of work required. There is definitely potential for the role to grow over time.
