About the Role

We're looking for a detail-oriented Virtual Assistant to join our team as a Research Specialist. This is a daily, ongoing role focused on gathering real-world consumer insight and scientific/anecdotal information about our product ingredients from across the internet.

You'll be digging into forums, review sites, and social platforms to understand what people are actually saying, the good, the bad, and the surprising, about the ingredients we use, their causes/effects, and any supporting studies or research.

What You'll Do
Research individual ingredients (e.g., magnesium, NAC, NAD+) to understand: what benefits people report, what people actually experience when taking them, why people take them in the first place, and how they're discussed in health/wellness communities

Research ingredients, compounds, and related topics across:
Reddit (threads, comments, niche subreddits)
Quora (Q&A discussions)
Amazon reviews (product and competitor reviews)
Health/wellness forums, blogs, and news sites
Google Scholar / PubMed for relevant studies (where applicable)

Track and summarize:
Common praises and complaints
Real customer language/phrasing (for later marketing/insight use)
Any scientific studies, clinical data, or credible sources related to ingredients
Compile findings daily into an organized report (Google Sheet / Doc / Notion, whichever you prefer)
Flag anything urgent (e.g., a viral complaint, a trending topic, a notable shift in sentiment)
Stay organized and consistent, this is a recurring daily task, not a one-off project

What We're Looking For
Strong English reading comprehension and written communication
Experience with online research, VA work, or content/social listening
Comfortable navigating Reddit, Quora, Amazon, and general web research
Detail-oriented with good judgment on what's relevant vs. noise
Able to organize findings clearly (spreadsheets, docs, or similar)
Self-starter who can work independently with minimal supervision
Must have some prior experience researching in the health/wellness/supplement space
Bonus: background in health, wellness, skincare, supplements, or a related industry
Bonus: familiarity with basic data/study literacy (reading abstracts, understanding study types)

Tools You'll Use
Google Sheets / Docs (or Notion/Airtable if preferred)

How to Apply

Include the word "blue" somewhere in your application, applications without it will not be reviewed.

Please send:

A short intro about your research/VA experience
An example of a research summary you've done before (if available)
Your availability and preferred rate
