About the Role

We’re looking for a full-time AI Static Ad Creator / Performance Creative Strategist who understands that high-performing creative starts with research, positioning, and strategy — not random design ideas.

This is not a traditional graphic design role, and it is not a position for someone who simply knows how to use Canva or AI image generators.

You will be responsible for researching markets, identifying opportunities, developing structured advertising concepts, producing static ads, analyzing performance, and iterating based on actual data.

Every Ad Batch Must Have a Strategy

We do not create random batches of ads and hope something works.

Every batch should be developed around a specific hypothesis and clearly defined variables, including:

Target customer avatar
Market awareness level
Market sophistication level
Specific problem or issue
Core customer desire
Advertising angle
Hook
Unique mechanism or differentiator
Customer objections
Previous solutions they may have tried
Emotional drivers
Proof architecture
Competitive positioning
The specific variable being tested

You should be able to clearly explain why an ad exists before you create it.

For example, instead of thinking:

"Let's make 10 new ads for this product."

We expect thinking closer to:

"This batch targets a solution-aware customer who has already tried multiple alternatives without getting the result they want. The market is highly sophisticated, so simply promising the end benefit is unlikely to be enough. We need to differentiate through mechanism, create contrast against existing solutions, address skepticism with proof, and test whether a problem-led or outcome-led hook creates stronger engagement."

That is the level of strategic thinking we expect.

Your Responsibilities

You will be responsible for:

Conducting deep customer and competitor research
Identifying specific customer avatars
Determining market awareness levels
Evaluating market sophistication
Finding customer pain points, desires, objections, frustrations, and language
Developing research-driven advertising angles
Turning those angles into static ad concepts
Creating high-performing Facebook and Instagram static ads
Using AI tools to generate realistic people, environments, product scenes, UGC-style imagery, and other supporting assets
Creating native-style ads that blend naturally into social feeds
Producing testimonial, advertorial, comparison, problem/solution, authority, editorial, before/after, product-focused, and other direct-response formats
Developing multiple executions of proven angles rather than constantly abandoning winning concepts
Reviewing creative performance and determining what should be tested next
Iterating winning advertisements through new hooks, visuals, avatars, headlines, proof devices, formats, and executions
Clearly organizing creative tests so we know what variable each advertisement is testing
PERFORMANCE EXPERIENCE IS REQUIRED

Do not apply unless you can provide actual proof of advertising performance from previous accounts.

We are looking for people who have personally created direct-response advertisements that have scaled profitably.

At minimum, you must be able to show us an advertisement or creative concept you personally worked on that achieved:

$10,000+ in ad spend at a 2.0+ ROAS.

You must provide actual evidence from previous advertising accounts showing:

The advertisement or creative
Ad spend
ROAS
Revenue/purchase performance
Relevant date range

We may ask additional questions to verify your involvement in the creative.

Any application submitted without proof of $10,000+ spend at 2.0+ ROAS will NOT be considered.

A design portfolio alone is not enough.

We are hiring based on the ability to create advertising that performs, not simply advertising that looks good.

Research Is a Major Part of This Position

Before developing creative, you should be comfortable researching through sources such as:

Meta Ad Library
Competitor websites
Competitor landing pages
Amazon and customer reviews
Reddit
Forums
Social media comments
Customer feedback
Existing winning advertisements
Advertorials
Surveys
Product reviews
Internal creative-performance data

You should be able to convert research into clear advertising hypotheses and testable creative concepts.

AI & Creative Tools

You should be highly comfortable using modern AI creative tools.

Experience with tools such as:

ChatGPT
Midjourney
Gemini / Nano Banana
Higgsfield
Sora
Flux
Photoshop
Canva
Other AI image-generation and editing platforms

is highly valuable.

We care less about the specific software you use and more about the quality of the finished advertisement.

You should be capable of generating highly realistic images and then refining them so they do not immediately look AI-generated.

AI is a tool used to execute the strategy.

AI itself is not the strategy.

What We're Looking For

You should have:

Proven direct-response advertising experience
Proven Meta creative experience
Strong understanding of customer avatars
Strong understanding of market awareness
Strong understanding of market sophistication
Strong direct-response copy instincts
Ability to develop compelling hooks and angles
Excellent visual judgment
Strong AI image-generation skills
Ability to make AI imagery believable and realistic
Strong research abilities
Strong understanding of creative testing
Ability to analyze advertising performance
Ability to determine why an ad won or lost
Ability to systematically iterate winners
Strong attention to detail
Fast turnaround times
Reliable communication
Ability to take feedback and implement it correctly
Ability to work independently

Experience working with DTC/e-commerce brands spending significant amounts on Meta advertising is strongly preferred.

The Mindset We're Looking For

Before creating an advertisement, you should naturally be asking:

Who exactly are we targeting?

What does this person already know about their problem?

What solutions have they already seen or tried?

What awareness level are they at?

How sophisticated is this market?

What specific issue are we addressing?

What is the deeper desire behind solving it?

What angle are we testing?

What does the customer need to believe before purchasing?

What proof will make the message credible?

What variable are we testing against the previous batch?

What did the last round of ads teach us?

Not:

"What cool AI image can I make today?"

Position

Full-Time / Long-Term

We are looking for someone who can become a long-term member of our creative team.

We continuously produce and test new advertisements, concepts, iterations, avatars, hooks, and angles.

There is significant room to grow for someone who consistently contributes winning ideas and creatives.

How To Apply

Your application MUST include:

Your portfolio
Examples of static advertisements you personally created
Screenshots proving at least one creative or concept you worked on generated $10,000+ in spend at a 2.0+ ROAS
An explanation of exactly what YOU contributed to that winning advertisement
A brief explanation of your research process before developing a new batch of creatives
The AI and design tools you currently use
Your availability
Your expected monthly salary
Any DTC/e-commerce industries you have previously worked in

Applications without actual performance proof will not be reviewed.

Shortlisted applicants may be invited to complete a paid trial where we provide the necessary product information, research, and performance data and ask you to develop a research-driven creative batch.
