TikTok Shop LIVE Sales Moderator + Video Editor

I am looking for an EXPERIENCED TikTok Shop LIVE Sales Moderator who can also handle short-form video editing and content/script development.

This is NOT a basic social media assistant position.

I need someone who understands TikTok Shop LIVE selling and can actively work alongside me during my LIVE to help generate sales.

LIVE SALES MODERATOR — REQUIRED

LIVE schedule: 7:30 AM–9:30 AM Eastern Time

You must be available for the entire two-hour LIVE.

Your job is to actively support the LIVE while I am on camera.

You will be expected to:

• Listen closely to what I am saying and reiterate important product facts in the comments
• Reinforce product benefits I mention
• Answer questions you already know the answers to
• Bring important information back into the conversation for viewers who just joined
• Keep viewers engaged and talking
• Welcome new viewers
• Ask questions and encourage interaction
• Watch for people adding products to their cart
• Acknowledge and create excitement around cart activity
• Recognize purchases and celebrate buyers by name
• Use purchases to create social proof and encourage additional purchases
• Remind viewers about products and offers
• Help create urgency around promotions
• Monitor the chat for bots and spam
• Remove inappropriate comments
• Block viewers who are vulgar, hateful, racist, threatening or intentionally disrupting the LIVE
• Recognize the difference between a legitimate question/concern and someone intentionally trying to sabotage the LIVE

I need someone who can THINK IN REAL TIME.

I don’t want someone who waits for me to tell them what to type every few minutes.

If I’m talking about a product benefit, I expect you to recognize that and reinforce it in the comments.

If someone adds the product to their cart, I expect you to recognize it.

If someone purchases, I expect you to celebrate it.

Your job is to help create buying momentum while I focus on demonstrating the products and talking to my audience.

TIKTOK SHOP EXPERIENCE

TikTok Shop LIVE experience is REQUIRED.

Please tell me specifically:

• How many TikTok Shop LIVEs you have moderated
• What your responsibilities were
• Whether you’ve worked with product links
• Whether you’ve worked with Flash Sales/Flash Deals
• Whether you’ve used TikTok LIVE Manager
• Whether you’ve helped a creator increase LIVE engagement or sales

SHORT-FORM VIDEO EDITING

In addition to LIVE support, you will work as my short-form video editor.

I need someone who can:

• Edit TikTok/Reels/YouTube Shorts
• Create strong hooks
• Add captions and text overlays
• Use B-roll, images and visual examples
• Create problem/solution style videos
• Understand current TikTok trends
• Create engaging pacing that keeps people watching
• Add appropriate calls-to-action
• Repurpose my LIVE footage
• Take the raw videos I provide and turn them into multiple pieces of content

SCRIPT & CONTENT DEVELOPMENT

I also need someone who can create scripts and content ideas for me.

You will be able to review the products currently listed in my TikTok Shop and help develop content around them.

I need:

Strong HOOK → talking points/product benefits → natural conversation → CTA

I want multiple hooks and creative angles rather than giving me the same generic script for every product.

I also want you to suggest things for me to DO on camera, not just things for me to SAY.

For example:

• Visual demonstrations
• Before/after concepts where appropriate
• Trending formats
• Problem/solution concepts
• Props or visuals to use
• Text/pop-up ideas
• Ways to demonstrate a product

MY PERSONAL STYLE

This is VERY important.

I am a real, relatable creator.

I talk to my audience like I’m talking to one person or a friend.

I am NOT a luxury lifestyle influencer.

My content can be pretty and polished, but I don’t want everything to look overly luxurious, staged or artificial.

I want my personality to remain authentic.

I need an editor who can make my content look better while still making it sound and feel like me.

WORK SCHEDULE

This position is approximately 4 hours per day, Monday–Friday, split into two work periods.

Philippines time:

7:30 PM–9:30 PM — TikTok Shop LIVE moderation
8:00 AM–10:00 AM — Editing, scripts & content development

U.S. Eastern Time:

7:30 AM–9:30 AM — LIVE
8:00 PM–10:00 PM — Editing/scripts/content

The schedule is split because I want the LIVE content from that morning to become part of the content and script planning for the following day.

DAILY WORKFLOW

After my LIVE, I will provide footage/products/content that I want worked on.

During your editing/content hours, you will:

1. Edit videos I have already provided

2. Create additional short-form content from my footage

3. Review my TikTok Shop products

4. Develop new content ideas and scripts

5. Prepare hooks, talking points and CTAs for the following day’s content

6. Email /send me the scripts and ideas so I can film them after my next LIVE

The goal is for me to wake up and already have the next day’s content ideas/scripts ready, while you’re also working on the videos from the previous day.

IMPORTANT

Please do not apply if you have never moderated a TikTok Shop LIVE.

I am specifically looking for someone who can come into the LIVE and understand what needs to be done without requiring extensive training on basic moderation.
