About the Role

Full-Stack Performance Video Editor + AI Graphic Designer / Prompter

We’re a fast-moving eCommerce company operating primarily through funnel-based dropshipping, and we’re looking for an exceptional Full-Stack Performance Video Editor + AI Graphic Designer / Prompter to join our creative team.

This is not a traditional video editing position.

We are looking for someone who understands that in direct-response eCommerce, creative is the engine of growth.

Your job is not to make videos that simply look good.

Your job is to help us reproduce, improve, iterate and scale winning advertising concepts.

What You’ll Be Doing

A major part of our strategy is studying successful ads in the market and creating our own high-quality versions for our products and funnels.

That means you must be extremely good at creative replication.

We will often provide you with a winning reference ad and expect you to:

  • Recreate the structure as closely as possible
  • Match the hook style and opening sequence
  • Match the pacing and rhythm
  • Replicate caption timing and visual hierarchy
  • Preserve the original selling mechanism and storytelling flow
  • Replace all original product footage with our own product
  • Replace or improve the B-roll
  • Adapt voiceovers, scenes, graphics and proof elements
  • Make the final creative feel native, polished and performance-driven

We are looking for one of the highest-quality “copying” editors possible.

You need to be able to look at an advertisement and reverse-engineer exactly why it works, then rebuild the same mechanism for another product without producing a cheap-looking clone.

Role 1 — Performance Video Editing

You will create direct-response advertisements for platforms such as:

  • Meta / Facebook
  • Instagram
  • TikTok
  • YouTube Shorts

You should understand:

  • Hooks
  • Retention editing
  • Pattern interrupts
  • Native social pacing
  • Direct-response storytelling
  • Offer presentation
  • CTAs
  • Product demonstrations
  • UGC
  • VSL-style creatives
  • Advertorial/funnel creatives
  • Before-and-after structures
  • Problem → agitation → solution frameworks
  • Testimonial and proof-driven creatives

You should think like a performance marketer who happens to be an elite editor, not a cinematic editor trying to make ads.

Role 2 — AI Graphic Designer

You will also help us produce high-quality visual assets using AI.

This can include:

  • Static Meta ads
  • Product images
  • Product-in-use scenes
  • Lifestyle visuals
  • Advertorial graphics
  • Before-and-after creatives
  • Landing-page imagery
  • Funnel graphics
  • Thumbnail concepts
  • AI-generated B-roll
  • Image variations for creative testing

You should be able to take basic product assets and transform them into visuals that look premium and commercially usable.

Role 3 — AI Prompter / Creative Generator

We need someone who is genuinely strong at prompting.

You should know how to get consistent, realistic and usable results from modern AI generation tools instead of simply typing one sentence and hoping for the best.

You should understand concepts such as:

  • Prompt structure
  • Camera direction
  • Lighting
  • Composition
  • Product consistency
  • Character consistency
  • Image-to-image workflows
  • Image-to-video
  • Reference-image prompting
  • Scene continuation
  • Motion prompting
  • Negative prompting
  • Iterative prompt refinement

Experience with tools such as the following is highly valuable:

  • Kling
  • Google Veo
  • Runway
  • Midjourney
  • Nano Banana / Gemini image tools
  • ChatGPT image generation
  • HeyGen
  • Arcads
  • Creatify
  • ElevenLabs
  • CapCut
  • Premiere Pro
  • After Effects
  • DaVinci Resolve
  • Photoshop
  • Topaz

You do not need to use every tool.

You do need to demonstrate that you have a real AI-powered creative workflow.

What We Expect

You should be able to receive:

1 winning reference ad + our product assets

…and independently turn that into a finished advertisement.

We do not want someone who requires a 20-page brief for every creative.

You need strong judgment.

If the reference uses a specific B-roll sequence, you should understand what that shot is accomplishing and find, create or generate an equivalent.

If footage is missing, your first instinct should be:

“How can I solve this?”

Not:

“Can you send me more footage?”

Creative Replication Is a Core Skill

To be very clear:

We actively use winning ads as references.

Your ability to study those creatives and accurately reproduce their:

  • Hook
  • Structure
  • Pacing
  • Scenes
  • B-roll logic
  • Captions
  • Transitions
  • Emotional progression
  • Proof placement
  • CTA

…is one of the most important parts of this position.

We are not looking for random creativity.

We are looking for someone who can identify what already works and execute it at an extremely high level for our brands.

The strongest editor will be able to make our version feel as good as or better than the reference.

Speed Matters

We test a high volume of creatives.

One winning concept may become:

  • 5 new hooks
  • 3 different opening scenes
  • Multiple B-roll versions
  • Different voiceovers
  • Different captions
  • Different CTAs
  • Different lengths
  • Different aspect ratios
  • Multiple static-image derivatives

You therefore need to understand creative iteration, not just individual video production.

A winning ad is not finished after version one.

A winning ad becomes a creative tree.

What We're Looking For

You should have:

  • Proven experience editing performance advertisements
  • Strong experience with eCommerce / dropshipping / direct response
  • Excellent ability to copy and recreate reference ads
  • Extremely strong B-roll selection
  • Strong understanding of Meta and TikTok creative
  • Strong visual taste
  • Excellent pacing
  • Strong caption design
  • AI-generation experience
  • AI image-generation experience
  • AI video-generation experience
  • Advanced prompting ability
  • Ability to work quickly without destroying quality
  • Ability to accept direct feedback and iterate quickly
  • High attention to detail
  • Good English comprehension

Bonus if you've worked with:

  • Dropshipping brands
  • One-product stores
  • Funnel-based eCommerce
  • Advertorial funnels
  • VSL funnels
  • Supplements
  • Beauty
  • Health
  • Problem-solving products
  • High-volume Meta advertisers

What We DON'T Want

Do not apply if:

  • Your background is mainly weddings, music videos or cinematic editing
  • You only know how to make “pretty” videos
  • You dislike copying winning references
  • You need detailed instructions for every edit
  • You cannot explain why an ad converts
  • You refuse to use AI
  • You use AI but produce obvious AI slop
  • You take several days to make basic creative variations
  • You care more about artistic originality than advertising performance

We care about originality when originality improves performance.

We care about replication when replication gives us a proven advantage.

The metric d ---------- .

Paid Test

This position will begin with a paid creative test.

You may receive:

  • One reference advertisement
  • Our product images/videos
  • Product information
  • Brand assets

Your job will be to recreate the advertisement for our product.

We will evaluate:

1. Accuracy of replication

Did you preserve what made the original work?

2. Editing quality

Does the final creative look premium?

3. B-roll selection

Did you choose or generate the right visual for every moment?

4. Performance thinking

Do you understand the hook, proof and CTA?

5. AI capability

Can you generate missing assets when necessary?

6. Prompting ability

Can you produce commercially usable AI visuals?

7. Speed

Can you execute quickly without constant supervision?

8. Attention to detail

Did you notice the small things?

Long-Term Opportunity

We are not looking for someone to edit three videos and disappear.

We're building a serious creative operation.

For the right person, this can develop into a long-term position where you become an essential part of our creative department and eventually help establish:

  • Editing standards
  • AI workflows
  • Prompt libraries
  • Winning-ad databases
  • Creative templates
  • B-roll libraries
  • Testing systems
  • Junior editor QA
  • Creative production processes

The goal is to find someone who can ultimately operate as a full-stack creative producer, not simply someone moving clips around a timeline.

How To Apply

Start your application with the word:

PRINT

Then send us:

1. Your 3 strongest performance ads
2. At least 1 example where you recreated or closely followed another advertisement/reference
3. Your best AI-generated product image or graphic
4. Your best AI-generated video/B-roll example
5. The AI tools you currently use
6. Your editing software
7. Your current availability
8. Your expected monthly full-time rate

Finally, answer this:

We give you a winning 60-second competitor ad and our product assets. Explain in 5-10 sentences exactly how you would recreate it for our product while keeping the elements that made the original successful.

Generic applications will be ignored.

We are looking for someone fast, technical, commercially minded and extremely good at execution.

If that sounds like you, apply.
