Executive Assistant & Dispatcher — US Towing / Roadside Assistance
Full-time · Long-term · Night shift (US hours) · Work from home
ABOUT THE ROLE
We are a towing and roadside assistance operation serving New York City — Staten Island, Brooklyn, Queens and the surrounding area. We run a portfolio of local service websites that generate emergency calls: flat tires, jump starts, lockouts, breakdowns and a ---------- tows. We route those calls to a network of tow operators on the ground.
We are growing and we need a right hand. This is not a task-taking VA role. You will run the dispatch desk and help build the business — bringing on commercial accounts and recruiting the operators who service them. If you want to be told exactly what to do every day, this is not the job. If you want to own something and grow with it, read on.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
Dispatch. Answer inbound calls and texts from stranded motorists, get the details fast (location, vehicle, problem), assign the job to the right operator, and follow it through to completion.
Coordinate operators. Keep the network warm, confirm availability, chase ETAs, handle the ones who go quiet.
Open commercial accounts. Outbound to property managers, HOAs, apartment complexes, body shops, dealerships and parking operators. Build the list, run the outreach, book the calls, follow up until you get an answer.
Recruit tow operators. Find and sign new tow truck operators into our network in the areas we cover.
Keep the records straight. Every call logged, every job tracked, every lead in the CRM. If it is not written down it did not happen.
Social media. Keep our pages active and consistent — posting, replying to messages and reviews.
General EA support for the owner: inbox, scheduling, research, whatever moves the day forward.
YOU ARE A FIT IF YOU HAVE
Excellent spoken English. You will be on the phone with Americans who are stressed and in a hurry. You need to be understood the first time, every time.
Experience on a US voice account — BPO, customer support, or (ideally) truck / freight dispatching. If you have dispatched loads or drivers for a US carrier, we want to talk to you.
Calm under pressure. Someone stuck on a highway at 2 AM is not going to be polite. You stay steady and solve it.
Real outbound or sales experience. Cold email , cold calls, LinkedIn — you have done it and you can show results.
Strong written English. You will write email s to US business owners without us editing them.
Ownership. You notice what is broken and fix it without being asked.
A reliable home office: fiber internet (25 Mbps+), a backup connection, a noise-cancelling headset, a quiet room, and power backup.
SCHEDULE
Night shift, Philippine time, to cover US East Coast business hours — roughly 9:00 PM to 6:00 AM Manila time, Monday to Friday. We will finalise the exact hours with the right person. Night differential included.
WHAT WE OFFER
[PHP amount] per month, paid [twice monthly / monthly] via [Wise / Payoneer].
Night differential on top of base.
13th month pay.
Performance bonuses for every commercial account you open and every operator you sign.
Paid time off after [X] months.
A real growth path. As call volume grows we will hire dispatchers under you. The person in this seat is who we want running that team.
HOW TO APPLY
Please do not send a generic application — we read every one and generic ones get skipped.
Start your message with the word HOOKUP so we know you read this far.
Then send us:
Your CV.
A short voice recording (60–90 seconds) introducing yourself and telling us about a time you handled a difficult customer. Any format is fine.
Your internet speed test result (screenshot from speedtest.net).
Two or three sentences on this: we want more commercial towing accounts in Staten Island. Where would you start?
We reply to everyone who follows these instructions.
