Sales & Admin Support – Outbound Calls & Scheduling

Job Type: Full-Time (40 hours/week) Salary: [$1,200 USD), Shift: Canadian Time Zone (Atlantic Standard Time / Night Shift in the PH)

Green Scholars Landscaping is a premium, fast-growing property maintenance company based in Halifax, Canada. We are expanding our operations and looking for a sharp, motivated Virtual Assistant .

Position Overview:
We are looking for a dynamic, confident, and highly organized Sales & Admin Assistant. This is not a passive data-entry role, you will be the heartbeat of our scheduling and sales follow-up process.

Your primary focus will be outbound phone calls following up on outstanding lawn care/landscaping quotes, talking to property owners, booking jobs, and helping manage our crew schedules. If you love talking to people, have a warm phone presence, and are great with numbers, we want you! We’re also looking to grow this role into helping prepare small mowing and snow removal quotes — we’ll provide full training, so we’re really looking for serious applicants who are ready and willing to be trained on estimating. Prior quoting/estimating experience is a big plus, but not required.

Key Responsibilities:
Quote Callbacks (Warm Sales): Call back a backlog of property owners who requested landscaping/mowing quotes. Answer their questions, handle objections warmly, and secure the booking.
Scheduling & Crew Routing: Manage and coordinate schedules for our field crews, optimize their daily routes, and book incoming jobs efficiently.
Lead & Request Management: Monitor and process new property service requests coming through our system (Jobber).
Proactive Outreach: Perform outbound cold calling and follow-ups during slower periods to keep the crews busy.
Quotes & Estimates (Training Provided): Help prepare small mowing and snow removal quotes for customers using our pricing tools and templates. We will fully train you on this — we’re just looking for serious applicants who are ready and willing to learn estimating.

Required Qualifications & Skills:
Excellent Spoken English: Exceptional spoken English with a warm, clear, and professional phone voice. You must be deeply comfortable being on the phone most of the day, specifically talking to older/senior homeowners who appreciate a polite, friendly cadence.
Sharp Math & Spatial Awareness: You must be fast and accurate with fundamental mental math. You will constantly be looking at property dimensions, square footage, and pricing structures. (Real estate VA experience or construction/home services background is a huge plus!)
Estimating/Quoting Experience: Prior experience preparing quotes for mowing, snow removal, landscaping, or similar home services is a big plus — though we’re happy to train the right person who is serious and eager to learn.
Sales Background: At least 1–2 years of experience in outbound sales, real estate, appointment setting, or premium BPO customer service accounts.
Tech-Savvy & Organized: Experience with CRM tools, Google Workspace, and scheduling software (experience with Jobber is a plus, but not required).
Reliable Setup: A quiet home office workspace, a reliable high-speed internet connection, a backup power/internet solution, and a premium noise-canceling headset.
