Mechanical Design Engineer (Fusion 360 / Onshape) - Full Time, Long Term

We are an Australian warehouse robotics company. We build automated storage and retrieval robots that run inside standard pallet racking. Small team, real product, systems installed and operating with major clients.

We need a mechanical design engineer to work directly with our founder on two things:

1. Client system layouts. Producing grid and general arrangement drawings from our parametric models for each new site.
2. Robot development. Detailing, brackets, aluminium extrusion frames, sheet metal parts, drawing packs and bills of materials.

Requirements:

• Strong parametric CAD in Fusion 360 or Onshape. Both acceptable, we work in Fusion.
• Sheet metal design including bend allowances and flat patterns.
• Comfortable in large assemblies, not just single parts.
• Experience with structural steel, racking, conveyors, machinery or fitout drafting is a big plus.
• Good written and spoken English. You will be working direct with the founder daily.

Hours: full time, aligned to Melbourne time (roughly 7am to 4pm Manila).
Pay: negotiable based on experience, paid monthly. Fusion licence provided.
