THE ROLE
We're looking for an experienced Project Manager, ideally based in Bacolod City, to work in a hybrid arrangement supporting the delivery of our Australian construction and development projects. You'll manage multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders from planning through to project handover, working closely with clients, consultants and contractors to keep projects on track, on budget and to standard.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage teams of staff, contractors, sub-contractors and consultants to achieve project and individual objectives
- Establish and oversee effective site operations, including coordinating site inspections and meetings
- Prepare non-conformance and defects notices
- Manage and coordinate all planning and scheduling activities in line with construction programs
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with client representatives, consultants, contractors and adjoining property owners
- Respond to design queries and manage distribution of design documentation across design and construction phases
- Manage and coordinate the project handover phase
- Identify and assess risks to the company and its clients at each project stage
- Manage contracts and documentation, including assisting with contract negotiations and preparing invitations to tender
- Prepare meeting minutes, progress claim assessment reports and regular project reports
- Interpret construction design drawings and administer contracts
- Apply construction, quality management and risk assessment principles and processes
- Assess and resolve site planning and coordination issues
- Coordinate the inputs of project stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery
- Represent Provident professionally at all times, including in video conferences, tracking actions to completion through our ISO-accredited WHS & Quality systems
ABOUT YOU
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering and/or Project Management, with a minimum of 5 years' experience on significant construction projects
- Experience managing Construction Contracts and Consultancy Agreements based on Australian Standards (or similar)
- Strong written and analytical skills to review and assess payment claims, delay claims, programming assessments and design management issues
- Solid construction knowledge, including technical and design principles, defects reporting and quality control, with a background in Quality Inspections, Defects Reporting and Quality Audits
- Confidence issuing written instructions to clients, contractors, suppliers, manufacturers, design consultants and authorities
- Advanced MS Office and MS Project skills, and experience with cloud-based systems such as Aconex
- Understanding of ISO-accredited Quality & WHS systems
- Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a highly organised, diligent work ethic
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment and work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
