Freelance Sourcing Agent – Used Nylon 6 Fishing Nets in the Philippines

We are a European recycling company looking for a freelance sourcing agent based in the Philippines to help us identify and contact potential suppliers of used fishing nets made from Nylon 6 (PA6).

The main objective is to develop a reliable network of contacts with fishing companies, fishing ports, net manufacturers, recyclers, waste collectors, shipyards, cooperatives and other companies involved in the fishing industry.

The material would be collected in the Philippines and exported to Europe for recycling.

Main responsibilities:

Identify companies and organizations that generate or collect used Nylon 6 fishing nets.
Contact potential suppliers and introduce our project.
Obtain information about available quantities, material quality, location and collection conditions.
Help us develop long-term relationships with reliable local suppliers.
Support communication and coordination when necessary.
Provide photos, basic information and contact details of potential suppliers.

Ideal candidate:

Based in the Philippines.
Good knowledge of the local fishing, maritime, recycling or waste management sectors.
Experience in sourcing, business development, purchasing or supplier research is a plus.
Good English communication skills.
Proactive, reliable and comfortable contacting companies by phone, email , WhatsApp or in person.

This can become a long-term collaboration depending on results.
