AI Content & Marketing Assistant - Skincare Ecom Brand

We're a growing US skincare brand looking for an organized, AI-native Content & Marketing Assistant to help run our social media and email marketing systems.

We are building the strategy, SOPs, prompts, templates, and workflows.

Your job is to run the system well.

You'll take raw content and ideas, use AI and our existing tools to turn them into finished marketing assets, schedule them, monitor performance, and keep everything moving consistently.

What You'll Do:

Content & Social Media

• Turn raw footage into short-form videos for TikTok, Instagram Reels, Facebook , and YouTube Shorts
• Create multiple hooks, captions, and variations from the same source content
• Use AI to draft and remix content, then edit it so it sounds natural and on-brand
• Schedule and publish content according to our calendar
• Keep content organized and make sure deadlines don't slip
• Respond to basic comments and escalate customer-service issues when needed

Competitor Research

• Monitor competitor skincare, beauty, and ecommerce brands
• Track interesting hooks, formats, offers, and high-performing content
• Monitor competitor email s and promotions
• Bring us ideas worth testing each week

Email Marketing

• Draft and schedule newsletters and promotional email s
• Use AI to create first drafts, then refine them
• Monitor basic email performance
• Check automated flows for obvious problems
• Help maintain segments and list hygiene
• Suggest simple subject-line or send-time tests

Weekly Reporting Covering:

• Content published
• Views and engagement
• Follower growth
• Best and worst-performing content
• Email opens, clicks, unsubscribes, and conversions
• Competitor observations
• What worked, what didn't, and what we should test next

What We're Looking For

Required:

• Excellent written and spoken English
• Strong experience using AI tools such as ChatGPT
• Ability to recognize and improve weak or robotic AI output
• Short-form video editing experience using CapCut, Premiere, DaVinci Resolve, or similar
• Experience with Klaviyo, Mailchimp, Omnisend, Shopify Email , or another email platform
• Organized, dependable, and comfortable following SOPs
• Reliable internet and some overlap with US Eastern Time

Nice to have:

• Klaviyo or Shopify experience
• Ecommerce, skincare, or beauty experience
• Canva
• Airtable or Notion
• TikTok Shop experience
