Mortgage Broker – Credit Analyst / Experienced Loan processor

We are looking for an experienced Mortgage Broker Support / Credit Analyst to join our growing mortgage broking business.

Australian mortgage broking experience is essential. We are only considering candidates who have previously worked in an Australian mortgage broking or lending environment.

This is a hands-on role for someone who can manage their own workflow, take ownership of applications and proactively find solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and monitor broker email s, correspondence and follow-ups
• Maintain application workflows and ensure deadlines are met
• Prepare and process loan applications from submission through to settlement
• Conduct credit analysis and review borrower financials
• Assess different types of income, including PAYG, overtime, bonuses, commissions, rental and self-employed income, company, trusts etc.
• Use servicing and borrowing capacity calculators
• Research lender policies and identify suitable lending solutions
• Liaise professionally with BDMs and lenders to clarify policy and application requirements
• Identify missing information or potential issues and resolve them proactively
• Follow up clients, lenders and other stakeholders
• Maintain accurate records and ensure nothing is overlooked
• Keep the broker updated on application progress and outstanding requirements

The ideal candidate will be:

• Experienced in Australian mortgage broking / broker support (Must)
• Strong in credit analysis and loan processing
• Highly organised and detail oriented (Must)
• Proactive and able to work independently
• Confident researching lender policies and finding answers
• Comfortable communicating with BDMs and lenders
• Responsible and accountable for their workload
• Able to manage multiple applications and competing priorities
• Strong in written and verbal English
• Interested in a long-term position and career progression

We particularly value someone who does not simply wait for instructions. If you don’t know the answer, you are expected to research the policy, investigate the options, speak with the relevant BDM and come back with a solution.

For the right candidate, there will be an opportunity to progress into a Senior Credit Analyst / Team Leader position, with responsibility for supporting, training, and managing other administration staff as the team grows. Working Hours
Monday – Friday
9:30 AM – 5:30 PM Brisbane time

Salary

AUD $1,200+ per month, depending on experience and capability.
Salary and responsibilities will be reviewed as the role develops.
