Xero Bookkeeper Needed for Initial Setup – Ticket Concierge Business

KKA Star LLC is a USA-based concierge and brokerage business. We need an experienced Xero bookkeeper/accountant to perform a one-time setup and bookkeeping clean-up so that our accounts are accurate, current and ready to support a business credit application.

This is initially a short-term project, but there may be occasional follow-up work if the engagement goes well.

Scope of work
Create and configure our Xero organisation
Design an appropriate chart of accounts for a concierge/brokerage business
Import and categorise historical bank transactions
Record opening balances, income, expenses, owner contributions and other relevant transactions
Reconcile our bank accounts and identify missing information
Produce an accurate Profit & Loss and Balance Sheet
Check the records for inconsistencies before completion
Prepare a clear handover explaining how the accounts have been configured
Provide a list of any documents or information still required

All accounts must be based on genuine transactions and supporting records. We are not looking for someone to manufacture figures or artificially improve the company’s financial position.

Requirements
Strong practical experience setting up companies in Xero
Experience preparing management accounts for financing or credit applications
Excellent reconciliation and transaction-categorisation skills
Familiarity with UAE free-zone companies is strongly preferred
Xero certification or accounting/bookkeeping qualification is desirable (1/2)
Good written English and clear communication
Able to work independently and maintain strict confidentiality
