About the Role
We're looking for a sharp, detail-oriented Video Editor to edit short-form street interviews for social media. Your single objective: turn raw interview footage into engaging, polished videos that people want to keep watching.
We provide the raw footage. Your job is to work it — find the best moments, cut out unnecessary parts, add captions, and create strong edits for TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts.
No specific industry experience required. Griffin will personally train you on the editing style we're looking for and what makes our interviews perform. What we can't teach is attention to detail and follow-through — bring that.
Responsibilities
Edit raw street interview footage into short-form videos
Identify the strongest moments and cut unnecessary footage
Add accurate, easy-to-read captions
Create engaging pacing and strong openings
Format videos for TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts
Follow our established editing style
Make revisions based on feedback
Keep project files and finished videos organized
Deliver completed edits consistently and on time
Requirements
1+ years of video editing experience, ideally short-form social media content
Strong understanding of TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts
Excellent sense of pacing and attention to detail
Highly organized and reliable
Able to follow editing instructions and incorporate feedback
Reliable high-speed internet and a computer capable of editing video
Proficient with CapCut, Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or similar editing software
