About the Role

Performance Marketing Specialist
Paid Media, Strategy & Growth — Remote, Philippines

We are a growing performance marketing agency looking for an experienced marketer who can help us create better results for our clients and become an important part of the company as we grow.

Most of our current clients are B2B companies, primarily in Europe, but the role is not limited to B2B. As the company grows, you may also work with B2C clients and different industries.

Our approach to marketing is simple:

We don't sell arbitrary packages. We focus on the client's goal and build the strategy required to achieve it.

We don't believe that “5 ads per month” or “10 creatives per month” automatically creates value.

Sometimes the right solution may require one strong campaign.

Sometimes it may require 30 new creatives, a new landing page, different positioning, new targeting or an entirely different strategy.

The question is always:

What is the client trying to achieve, and what do we need to do to get there?

This is not a junior position

You should already know what you're doing.

We're looking for someone with at least 3 years of relevant digital/performance marketing experience who can contribute knowledge and ideas from the beginning.

You should not need to be taught the fundamentals of paid advertising.

In your area of expertise, we actually want you to know more than we do.

We want to be able to say:

“Here is the client. Here is their goal. Here is the budget and the situation. What do you think we should do?”

We will discuss strategy together, challenge ideas and make decisions together.

But over time, you should be able to take increasing ownership without needing someone involved in every audience, headline, campaign structure or optimisation decision.

Your input matters.

Your main responsibility: performance marketing

Paid media and performance marketing will be the core of your role.

You should have practical experience with:

LinkedIn Ads
Meta Ads
Google Ads
Lead generation
Campaign strategy
Audience research and targeting
Retargeting
Testing and optimisation
Offer and messaging development
Ad copy and headlines
Basic creative production
Landing-page optimisation
Tracking and performance analysis

You should be particularly strong with LinkedIn Ads and Meta Ads.

You should also understand Google Ads and be able to work with the platform, although we are not specifically looking for a Google Ads specialist.

Knowing where to click inside an advertising platform is not enough.

We care much more about whether you understand:

Why an offer should work
How it should be positioned
Which audiences should see it
What should be tested
What the data is telling us
Why performance is changing
What to do when something isn't working
How to turn advertising spend into the result the client actually wants
Landing pages and broader marketing work

Because we are still a growing company, this will naturally be a broader role than working inside Ads Manager all day.

You should be comfortable helping with landing pages and occasional website work.

Most landing-page work will currently be done in Webflow.

WordPress experience is useful, but it is not currently a requirement.

You may also occasionally help with:

Canva creatives
Ad copy
Headlines
Simple graphic content
AI-assisted content
Minor website changes
Occasional simple video content

You are not expected to be a professional graphic designer, video editor and web developer at the same time.

Your primary job is still marketing and performance.

Tracking and analytics

You should understand the fundamentals of proper tracking.

Experience with areas such as the following is expected:

GA4
Google Tag Manager
LinkedIn Insight Tag
Meta Pixel
Conversion events
UTM tracking
Basic attribution
Performance reporting

You don't need to be an analytics engineer.

But if you're responsible for performance, you need to understand whether the data you're making decisions from can actually be trusted.

Who we're looking for

You should have:

3+ years of relevant experience
Strong hands-on paid advertising experience
Demonstrated experience generating measurable results
Experience working with Western companies
Preferably experience with European companies or European markets
Strong written and spoken English
Strong strategic thinking
The ability to work independently
Good judgement
Ownership of your work
Reliable communication
The ability to explain why you made a decision
A reliable computer
A reliable internet connection

We will pay for the software, systems and tools required to perform your work.

You are not expected to personally pay for company software.

We want to see what you've actually done

Years of experience alone don't tell us very much.

If possible, we would like to see examples of previous campaigns, strategies or client work.

You don't need to disclose confidential client information.

We are interested in questions such as:

What was the client's objective?
What was the approximate advertising budget?
Which platforms did you use?
What strategy did you choose?
Why did you choose it?
What wasn't working?
What did you change?
What happened afterwards?
What results did you achieve?
What would you do differently today?

We care more about understanding how you think than seeing an impressive screenshot without context.

How we work
Results over performative busyness

We care about:

Outcomes, ownership and deadlines rather than activity for activity's sake.

We are not interested in monitoring whether someone appears online every minute of the working day.

We are interested in whether:

The work is completed properly
Deadlines are respected
Client budgets are respected
Performance is moving in the right direction
Problems are communicated early
You take responsibility for your work

Freedom comes with responsibility.

As trust and results increase, so will your autonomy.

Mistakes are allowed

People make mistakes.

That is part of working.

A mistake itself is not necessarily the problem.

What matters is what happens afterwards.

When something goes wrong, we want to understand:

What happened?
Why did it happen?
How do we fix it?
How do we make sure the same mistake doesn't keep happening?

What we do not want is a problem being hidden until the last possible moment.

If you are stuck, need something, can't complete something, don't understand something or believe something is going wrong:

Say it early.

Most problems are much easier to solve before they become emergencies.

Honest communication

We value honesty and respectful disagreement.

If you believe an idea is bad, say so.

Explain why.

We do not want someone who simply agrees with everything.

At the same time, we follow a simple principle:

Disagree and commit.

We can disagree openly while discussing a decision.

But once a decision has been made, we both commit to it and do our best to make it succeed — even if one of us originally preferred another option.

Respect goes both ways.

AI is welcome

You are welcome to use AI.

We actively believe AI can help with:

Research
Copywriting
Brainstorming
Analysis
Creative ideas
Production
Improving workflows

Use it when it makes your work better or faster.

But you still own the final output.

“AI generated it” is not an excuse for poor-quality work.

Client portfolio

We believe in quality over account volume.

The goal is not to give one marketer 40–50 clients and ask them to keep everything alive.

The number of clients you manage will depend on factors such as:

Complexity
Advertising spend
Required workload
Strategy
Creative requirements
Landing-page work
Reporting requirements

A large account may require significantly more attention than several smaller accounts.

We will therefore manage workload based on what is realistically required to do good work.

Working arrangement
First 3 months

The role starts as a freelance engagement.

Expected workload:

Approximately 25–30 hours per week.

Monthly compensation:

DKK 4,000 per month

Currently approximately ₱38,900 per month, depending on exchange rates.

The initial period allows both sides to determine whether the collaboration works well.

If it clearly isn't working, neither side is expected to continue simply to reach the end of the three months.

Availability during the initial period

During the first months, while we learn how to work together, we expect you to normally be reachable when needed between:

09:00–12:00 Danish time

We understand the time difference and there can be reasonable flexibility.

As we become comfortable working together, the arrangement can become increasingly asynchronous.

Longer term, communication may primarily consist of messages and a regular weekly meeting.

The general expectation will be that messages requiring a response are normally answered no later than the next working day.

Full-time opportunity

If the initial collaboration works well for both sides, the intention is to transition the role into full-time employment through an Employer of Record (EOR) in the Philippines.

This would normally happen after approximately three months.

Expected full-time workload will normally be around:

40 hours per week.

We care more about quality, responsibility and results than unnecessarily tracking every individual hour.

Once transitioned to full-time employment, this will be an exclusive position.

You should therefore only apply if you would genuinely be willing and able to stop other ongoing client work and work full-time with us if the permanent position is offered.

Compensation progression
Initial freelance period

First approximately 3 months:

DKK 4,000/month

Approximately ₱38,900/month at current exchange rates.

Approximately 25–30 hours per week.

Full-time employment

After a successful initial period and transition to EOR employment:

DKK 4,500 gross/month

Currently approximately ₱43,800 gross/month, depending on exchange rates
