AI & Automation Virtual Assistant

Job Summary

We are looking for a technically curious and highly trainable AI & Automation Virtual Assistant to join the core remote team of a Hong Kong-based company.
This role combines normal Virtual Assistant execution with a strong focus on AI tools, automation, research, testing and technology support.
You will complete recurring operational tasks while also helping the team improve how work is done using AI and automation.
We are looking for someone who genuinely enjoys experimenting with new tools, learning how systems connect and finding faster ways to complete repetitive work.

Key Responsibilities

Complete assigned recurring and operational tasks accurately and on time.
Use AI tools to support research, documentation, data processing and daily execution.
Assist with building, testing and maintaining simple automations and workflows.
Research new AI tools, software and automation opportunities.
Keep company tools, documentation and internal systems updated.
Test new workflows and report errors, limitations and improvement opportunities.
Create clear documentation and SOPs for tools and automated processes.
Update ClickUp, spreadsheets, databases and other company systems.
Support Gerald, Turqey and other team members with AI-related research and technical execution.
Help identify repetitive manual tasks that could be simplified or automated.
Support cross-department recurring work when required.

Qualifications & Skills
Strong interest in AI, automation and technology.
Regular experience using AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini or similar.
Comfortable learning new software without extensive training.
Good written and spoken English.
Strong research and problem-solving ability.
Comfortable working with spreadsheets, structured data and online systems.
Experience with ClickUp or similar project-management software is an advantage.
Experience with automation platforms such as Make, Zapier, n8n or similar is a strong advantage.
Basic understanding of APIs, databases, scripting or no-code tools is an advantage but not required.
Strong attention to detail.
Able to follow SOPs and complete recurring tasks reliably.
Comfortable working across different departments.
Formal technology qualifications are not required.
We are more interested in whether you genuinely use technology, experiment independently and can learn quickly.

How Success Is Measured

Success means recurring tasks are completed accurately, company tools stay maintained, automations work reliably, documentation remains current, and the amount of repetitive manual work gradually decreases.
This role is suited to someone who enjoys geeking out on AI and technology, but is also disciplined enough to handle routine operational work consistently.
