About the Role

We are looking for a highly skilled English-speaking video editor who is proficient in both Adobe Premiere Pro and Adobe After Effects.

The content is entirely in English and is intended for an English-speaking international audience.

The editor must have native or near-native English comprehension and be able to understand spoken English accurately, identify the most important points, and make strong editorial decisions based on the speaker’s message, tone, and delivery.

This opportunity begins with a paid 60-second video editing trial.

We plan to hire 3 editors separately for the same paid trial assignment. Each selected editor will receive the same source material and core editing requirements so that we can evaluate the results fairly.

PAID TRIAL TERMS

  • Fixed fee: USD 35 per editor
  • We will hire 3 editors for the same paid trial
  • Each editor will be paid separately
  • Final edited video: approximately 60 seconds
  • One minor revision is included
  • The full USD 35 will be paid to each selected editor who completes and submits the trial according to the agreed requirements
  • This is a paid skills test, not a request for free sample work
  • Future work is possible, but not guaranteed

ABOUT THE VIDEO

The source video features an English-speaking presenter.

The final video is intended for an English-speaking international audience. The editor must be able to understand the speaker’s message, select the most effective moments, and present the content in a clear, engaging, and visually polished way.

We are looking for more than basic cutting and captioning.

The editor should be able to improve the video through:

  • Strong pacing and editorial judgment
  • Effective visual storytelling
  • Strategic use of B-roll
  • Motion graphics and animated text
  • Emphasis on important words and ideas
  • Clean transitions
  • Sound effects and audio enhancement
  • Music selection where appropriate
  • Color correction and professional finishing
  • Pattern interrupts that help maintain viewer attention

The final edit should feel intentional, polished, modern, and engaging without becoming visually excessive or distracting.
