Are you an experienced bookkeeper who enjoys bringing order to financial records, solving reconciliation puzzles, and ensuring everything is set up correctly from day one? Are you currently based in Luzon?

At Solve Outsource, we provide outsourced accounting, bookkeeping, payroll, and management reporting services to businesses across Ireland and the UK. As our client base continues to grow, we're expanding our Client Onboarding Team and are looking for a detail-oriented Onboarding Bookkeeper to help deliver a seamless onboarding experience for every new client.

This is a unique opportunity to work behind the scenes with our Onboarding CPA and accounting team, ensuring new clients are successfully transitioned into our systems and ready for long-term success.

What You'll Be Doing

As our Onboarding Bookkeeper, you'll play a vital role in preparing new clients for a smooth handover to our ongoing accounting team.

Your responsibilities will include:

Supporting onboarding plans for new clients
Maintaining onboarding checklists and monitoring outstanding tasks
Reviewing and organising bookkeeping records and supporting documents
Setting up client files in Xero, QuickBooks Online, and other accounting systems
Importing and validating customers, suppliers, transactions, and opening balances
Completing bank, credit card, debtor, creditor, and balance sheet reconciliations
Investigating discrepancies, unusual balances, and incomplete records
Identifying historical catch-up work or issues outside onboarding scope
Escalating missing information and technical concerns promptly
Preparing clear working papers, bookkeeping procedures, and handover notes
Supporting the successful transfer of completed clients to the delivery team
Following quality assurance, confidentiality, and information security procedures
Assisting in improving onboarding processes, templates, and workflows

What We're Looking For

We're seeking someone who is organised, analytical, and passionate about delivering high-quality bookkeeping.

Essential Requirements

Minimum 3 years of bookkeeping or accounting experience
Strong understanding of double-entry bookkeeping
Proven experience completing bank, debtor, creditor, and balance sheet reconciliations
Hands-on experience with Xero, QuickBooks Online, or similar accounting software
Strong Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets skills
Experience reviewing incomplete records and investigating discrepancies
Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
Exceptional attention to detail and organisational skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
Reliable internet connection and a professional remote work environment

Nice to Have

Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
Previous experience working with an outsourced accounting firm
Xero and/or QuickBooks certifications
