Job Description – Creative Content & Digital Asset Manager

Full-Time Remote Position

About Space Art Cabinetry:

Space Art Cabinetry is a growing custom cabinetry company specializing in kitchens, custom closets, and other cabinetry and storage solutions.
Every project we design and complete creates valuable visual material, renderings, drawings, progress photos, finished photography, job-site videos, and more.
We are looking for someone to take ownership of those digital assets and turn them into long-term value for the company.
This is not a traditional Social Media Manager position. It is a hands-on combination of digital asset management, creative content production, AI-powered visual creation, and digital marketing.

Mission of the Role:

You will own the lifecycle of our visual content, from raw material to organized assets to polished content that can be used for marketing, sales, our website, social media, and presentations.
A successful person in this role should constantly be thinking:
“What valuable content do we have, what are we missing, and how can I turn it into something useful?”

Key Responsibilities:

1. Digital Asset & Project Portfolio Management

  • Take ownership of the company's growing library of photos, videos, renderings, drawings, graphics, and other visual assets.
  • Gather assets coming from multiple sources, including project managers, installers, job sites, internal communication channels, renderings, phones, drone footage, and management.
  • Develop and maintain an organized, scalable Digital Asset Management system.
  • Recommend the best platforms, workflows, naming structures, folders, tagging systems, and processes for managing our assets.
  • Make assets easy to search, retrieve, share, and reuse.
  • Review incoming content and identify what is valuable, what needs improvement, and how it can be used.
  • Maintain organized portfolios of completed and ongoing projects.
  • Ensure valuable content does not get lost simply because nobody noticed or organized it.

2. Photo, Rendering & Visual Production

  • Select and prepare the best images from projects.
  • Retouch, crop, color-correct, clean up, enhance, and professionally present photographs.
  • Improve job-site photos that were taken under less-than-ideal conditions.
  • Work with architectural/design renderings and transform them into more realistic, polished marketing visuals when appropriate.
  • Create new visuals using existing drawings, layouts, renderings, photos, and AI tools.
  • Create before/after, progress, comparison, project showcase, and similar visual content.
  • Handle day-to-day digital graphic design needs without requiring an outside graphic designer for every small task.

3. Video Content
We do not expect high-end film production. We do expect strong, practical digital video skills.
Responsibilities include:

  • Gather raw video from job sites, phones, project managers, installers, and future drone footage.
  • Identify the best clips and turn raw footage into useful content.
  • Trim, combine, clean up, resize, and enhance video.
  • Add captions, text, graphics, transitions, music, voiceovers, or other elements when appropriate.
  • Remove or replace unwanted audio.
  • Combine photos, renderings, progress footage, and finished footage into project videos.
  • Produce reels, progress updates, before/after videos, finished-project showcases, and other short-form content.
  • Repurpose one set of footage into multiple pieces of content when possible.

4. Directing Content Capture
You will not personally be present at every project. Therefore, part of your responsibility is helping our field team capture better raw material.

  • Create simple shot lists and instructions for project managers and installers.
  • Proactively request specific photos, videos, angles, progress shots, or drone footage.
  • Identify missing content before the opportunity is gone.
  • Educate team members on what makes footage useful for marketing.
  • Think ahead about what will be needed to properly showcase a project after completion.

5. Social Media & Digital Presence
Own the day-to-day execution of our digital presence, particularly:

  • Instagram
  • LinkedIn
  • WhatsApp Status
  • Google Business presence
  • Company website
  • ----------
  • Other relevant platforms as they develop

Responsibilities include:

  • Develop content from our existing project assets.
  • Write or refine captions and supporting copy.
  • Create and publish posts, reels, project showcases, and updates.
  • Maintain a consistent posting schedule.
  • Actively optimize content for maximum reach, traffic, engagement, and exposure on each platform. Understand how each platform’s algorithms, formats, timing, keywords, hashtags, trends, and other best practices affect visibility, and continuously test and improve our approach based on performance.
  • Adapt content appropriately for different platforms rather than simply posting the exact same thing everywhere.
  • Monitor and respond appropriately to comments, messages, and DMs.
  • Keep the company's online presence active, polished, professional, and consistent with our established brand guidelines.
  • Look for opportunities to repurpose existing material rather than constantly needing new content.

6. Website & Project Portfolio

  • Keep the website visually current and up to date.
  • Maintain the website’s project portfolio and visual content on an ongoing basis, ensuring it remains current, polished, accurate, and reflective of the company’s latest work.
  • Upload completed projects with strong imagery and well-written descriptions.
  • Organize projects so prospective customers can easily understand the work being presented.
  • Maintain and improve the online portfolio as new work becomes available.
  • Handle basic website content updates and minor technical/HTML-related work when needed.
  • Coordinate with outside technical professionals when an update is beyond the scope of this position.

7. Email & Other Digital Marketing
When email marketing campaigns are used:

  • Prepare and organize the visual content.
  • Build or assist with email layouts.
  • Insert images, links, buttons, and other digital assets correctly.
  • Handle basic formatting/HTML as necessary.
  • Coordinate with others when copywriting or more advanced technical work is required.

8. AI & Technology
Advanced practical use of AI is an important part of this position.
We want someone who actively explores how modern tools can make work faster, better, and possible.
This may include AI for:

  • Image generation and enhancement
  • Rendering enhancement and photorealistic visualization
  • Photo editing and cleanup
  • Video production and editing
  • Voiceover/audio
  • Graphic creation
  • Content development
  • Copy assistance
  • Workflow automation
  • Asset organization
  • Research and productivity

We are not looking for someone who simply knows how to type prompts into ChatGPT. We want someone who is curious about new technology, experiments with tools, learns quickly, and continually improves the workflow.

Required Experience & Skills:

We are primarily interested in ability and portfolio, not degrees or job titles.
The ideal candidate will have:

  • Approximately 2–5+ years of relevant hands-on experience in digital content, multimedia, creative production, digital marketing, or a related field.
  • Strong creative judgment, the ability to independently recognize what looks professional, what content has marketing potential, and what needs improvement without requiring detailed direction for every task.
  • Strong photo editing and enhancement abilities.
  • Practical video editing experience.
  • Good graphic design skills and a strong visual eye.
  • Experience creating content specifically for social media.
  • Understanding of social media platforms, formats, trends, and engagement.
  • Experience working with AI-powered creative tools.
  • Strong organizational and digital file-management skills.
  • Ability to learn new platforms and software quickly.
  • Basic website/content-management experience.
  • Basic HTML knowledge is preferred.
  • Excellent written English.
  • Clear spoken English for internal meetings and communication.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and take ownership.

Cultural & Brand Adaptability:

Our company serves customers with specific preferences, expectations, communication styles, and cultural nuances.
The successful candidate must be able to:

  • Observe and quickly understand the culture and audience of the company.
  • Learn subtle differences in communication, imagery, style, and presentation.
  • Avoid assuming that what works for one audience automatically works for another.
  • Follow established brand guidelines while developing a strong understanding of what feels appropriate for our customers.
  • Accept feedback and quickly adapt.

Who Will Thrive in This Position:

You will likely do very well here if you are the type of person who:

  • Sees an interesting job-site photo and immediately thinks, “We can do something with this.”
  • Doesn't wait to be told every individual task.
  • Enjoys both creativity and organization.
  • Likes turning messy raw material into something polished.
  • Notices missing information and goes after it.
  • Enjoys experimenting with AI and new technology.
  • Can research a problem and propose a solution.
  • Can build a system instead of simply following one.
  • Understands that creating great content and properly organizing it are equally important.
  • Takes ownership and follows things through to completion.

Work Schedule:

This is a full-time remote position working on our standard Eastern Time schedule:
Monday–Thursday: 9:00 AM–6:00 PM Eastern Time
Friday: 9:00 AM–1:00 PM Eastern Time
Candidates must be consistently available for communication, collaboration, and meetings during these hours.

Equipment & Work Environment:

Because this is a remote creative position, the selected candidate must have:

  • A modern, reliable computer powerful enough to smoothly handle professional photo
