Video Editor for US Fitness Studio - Premiere Pro, Talking Head + Shorts (Part Time, Long Term)

I run a small personal training studio in Los Angeles. I film myself talking to camera about fat loss, training, and why most diets fall apart. I am good at filming. I am slow at editing, and that is the only reason my videos are not getting published.

I want to hand that job to one person and stop thinking about it.

WHAT THE WORK IS

Every week I send you raw footage. You send me back finished video.

Per month:

• 4 long videos, 3 to 5 minutes each, me talking to camera
• 20 to 24 vertical clips cut from that same footage, for Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts
• B-roll cut into short labeled segments I can reuse

The look is already built. I will give you the template, the motion graphics files, the fonts, the colors, and written instruction sheets for every graphic. Your job is to apply it the same way every time. Not to redesign it.

WHAT I NEED YOU TO BE GOOD AT

• Adobe Premiere Pro. Organized projects, labeled bins, not 200 clips on one timeline.
• Cutting a talking-head video so it moves. Taking out the ums, the false starts, and the parts where I lose my train of thought, without it sounding chopped up.
• Reframing horizontal footage to vertical so my head is not cut off.
• Clean captions. Correct spelling, good timing, not covering my face.
• Basic color correction. Matching shots so my footage looks the same from cut to cut, and applying the preset I give you. I am not looking for a creative grade. I want it consistent.
• Audio cleanup. Even levels through the whole video, room noise down, nothing clipping. If a viewer has to reach for the volume knob, the edit failed.
• Hitting a deadline. And if you cannot hit it, telling me before it passes, not after.
• Writing to me in clear English. If a brief is unclear, ask me. Do not guess and hope.

WHAT THIS IS NOT

This is not a creative director job. I am not looking for someone to reinvent the style every month. I want someone reliable who makes the same good thing over and over and gets faster at it. If you want full creative freedom, this will frustrate you.

THE ARRANGEMENT

Part time, ongoing, paid monthly. Same amount every month for the volume above. Rate depends on your experience and how the test goes.

I would rather hire one person and train them well than keep starting over with new editors. If you are looking for a few weeks of work, this is not it.
