Tech Lead – WordPress, SEO & Digital Marketing
We’re looking for a skilled and proactive Tech Lead to manage and improve our online presence. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in WordPress website development, website optimisation, SEO, backlink building, and social media marketing.
Key Responsibilities
Build, manage, and maintain WordPress websites
Develop and implement website improvements and new features
Optimise websites for speed, performance, mobile responsiveness, and user experience
Carry out technical SEO and on-page optimisation
Develop effective SEO backlinking and outreach strategies
Monitor website analytics, rankings, traffic, and conversions
Plan and manage social media marketing campaigns
Create or coordinate engaging content for social platforms
Identify and resolve technical issues
Lead digital projects and work with internal teams or external contractors
Keep websites, plugins, themes, and security systems up to date
Skills and Experience
Proven experience building and managing WordPress websites
Strong knowledge of website optimisation and performance tools
Understanding of SEO, keyword research, link building, and backlink strategies
Experience with social media marketing across platforms such as Facebook , Instagram, LinkedIn, and TikTok
Familiarity with Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and SEO tools
Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and basic JavaScript is an advantage
Strong problem-solving and project-management skills
Ability to work independently and take ownership of projects
Excellent communication and organisational skills
