Part-Time Video Editor - Reels & Meta Ad Creatives (Aesthetics Clinic)

DermLux is a group of 5 medical aesthetics clinics in Cyprus (laser hair removal, skin treatments, injectables). We spend real money every month on Meta and Google ads, and the one thing that decides whether that money works or gets burned is the video creative. That is this job.

We are looking for ONE part-time video editor who thinks like a marketer, not just someone who cuts clips.

HOW IT WORKS
We send you the raw material - phone footage from our clinics, treatment clips, before and after photos, staff videos, product shots. You send back finished videos, ready to post or ready to run as ads.

WHAT YOU WILL PRODUCE

• Vertical 9:16 reels for Instagram, TikTok and Facebook . This is the main output.
• Meta ad creatives: hook first, built to stop the scroll and get the click
• Clean, readable subtitles and captions on everything
• Simple motion graphics, price overlays, before and after transitions
• Occasional square or 16:9 versions of the same video
• Expect roughly 6 to 10 finished short videos per week, depending on complexity. We would rather have 6 videos that convert than 12 that do not.

WHAT MAKES YOU RIGHT FOR THIS

• You are MARKETING-ORIENTED. You know the first 1-2 seconds decide everything. You know what a hook is, why retention matters, and you can explain why you cut something the way you did.
• You have edited paid social ads before, not only pretty organic content. If you have ever seen the performance numbers of your own videos, we want to hear about it.
• Strong CapCut and/or Adobe Premiere Pro. After Effects is a plus.
• Fast turnaround, normally 24 to 48 hours per batch.
• You can follow a brand style guide and keep it consistent.
• You take feedback without drama and you do not disappear.

IMPORTANT - LANGUAGE
Most of our on-screen text is in GREEK. You do NOT need to speak Greek - we send you the exact Greek text to place. But you must be careful and accurate when copying Greek letters and accents, and check every single character. If you are sloppy with text you cannot read, this job is not for you.

NICE TO HAVE

• Experience with beauty, aesthetics, medspa, fitness or healthcare content
• Basic photo retouching for before and after images
• Experience with UGC-style ad formats

HOURS

• Part time, 20 hours per week. Long-term ongoing work, not a one-off project.
• Flexible hours. You do not have to be online at a fixed time, but you must hit deadlines and be reachable for feedback during our working day (11:00 AM - 8:00 PM Cyprus time = 4:00 PM - 1:00 AM Manila time).

PAY - real numbers, not vague promises

• $7 to $10 USD per hour, depending on your portfolio and experience
• BONUS: +$50 USD for every video of yours that becomes one of our top 3 performing ads of the month, up to $150 USD per month. We show you the actual ad performance data - you will know exactly where you stand.
• 13TH MONTH PAY: yes, we pay it, every December. We know what it means to you.
• Paid every 2 weeks through Wise.
• If this works, the hours and the scope grow. We are building a long-term creative partner, not renting one.

HOW TO APPLY

1. Start your message with the word HOOK so we know you actually read this
2. Your portfolio: direct links to 3 vertical short videos that YOU edited. Real reels or ads, not a showreel of other people's work.
3. Pick ONE of those videos and explain in 3-4 sentences: what was the hook, who was it for, and did it perform? Give numbers if you have them.
4. Which software you use and how long you have been using it
5. How many finished short videos you can realistically deliver per week at 20 hours
6. Any experience with beauty, clinic, medspa or healthcare content
7. Your internet speed test result (you will be downloading large raw files)
