AI Short-Form Video Editor & Affiliate Operations Assistant

I run a growing affiliate-content business producing short-form product videos and organized product-recommendation content.

I am looking for a sharp, reliable assistant who already understands how social-media content sells products. This is not a customer-service, chat-support or generic administrative position.

You should already understand concepts such as:

Hooks
Problems and desires
Product benefits
Proof and demonstrations
Objections
The main selling content or “meat”
Calls to action
TOF versus BOF content

Marc will select the main opportunities, approve creative direction, handle protected generation tasks and publish final TikTok content. Your role will be researching, organizing, editing and turning approved ideas and assets into excellent finished work.

Compensation
Starting budget: $4 USD per hour
Include your requested hourly rate when applying
Initial paid trial of up to 20 hours
Approximately 10–20 hours per week after a successful trial
Compensation review after 30 days, with the opportunity to grow to $5+ per hour
Performance bonuses available as the business grows
Proven team members may become eligible for a bonus tied to net affiliate commissions generated by tracked work they helped produce
Primary Responsibilities
Short-Form Video Editing

You will:

Edit supplied images, video clips and voiceovers into polished short-form videos
Follow reference videos, scripts, storyboards and creative briefs
Create strong pacing, readable on-screen text and clean transitions
Add captions, sound effects and music when appropriate
Prepare captions, on-screen text and relevant hashtags
Create alternative hooks or variations from the same assets
Proof every finished video for visual errors, incorrect labels, awkward motion, spelling mistakes and bad timing
Export and organize finished videos correctly
Prepare complete posting packages for Marc to review and publish

You will not initially post directly to TikTok.

Viral Format and Competitor Research

You will:

Find successful current videos for adjacent products
Identify repeatable structures rather than simply copying footage
Break down the hook, pacing, shots, selling angle, proof, offer and CTA
Explain why a video is likely converting
Suggest how the format could be adapted to another product
Organize strong references for future production

We do not rely on guessing what social platforms will like. We study current evidence, create variations and allow performance to determine what gets scaled.

Affiliate Product Content

You will also help produce organized product-recommendation content using internal templates and processes.

Tasks may include:

Researching relevant products
Creating list titles and descriptions
Organizing products into logical sections
Writing concise section descriptions
Verifying exact product URLs
Selecting accurate product images
Writing a useful note for every recommendation
Catching duplicates, irrelevant products and broken or incorrect links
Completing a final quality-control checklist

Accuracy is more important than rushing.

AI Production

As training progresses, the role may expand to include:

AI image-generation workflows
Kling or similar AI video-generation tools
Avatar-video production
Organizing approved voiceovers
Prompt execution and refinement
Producing multiple creative variations
Managing tasks and assets inside our private production system

Business software and generation credits will be provided. You will not be expected to purchase software personally.

You must have:

Strong spoken English
Strong written English
Real understanding of short-form social-media selling
Experience creating, editing or analyzing content intended to generate clicks or sales
The ability to recognize a strong hook and sales structure
Strong attention to detail
Good visual judgment
The ability to follow detailed references and instructions
Reliable communication
A dependable computer and internet connection
The judgment to ask questions instead of silently guessing
Respect for confidential business information and unreleased content

Shortlisted applicants will receive a brief interview. The strongest candidates will then be offered a small paid skills test before one person is selected for the larger paid trial.
