Social Media Scout | $3-$5/hr + Bonuses & Residual Earnings

Do you know how to find real conversations happening in Facebook Groups, Reddit, ---------- , YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, Quora, or X?

More importantly, can you recognize when someone is actively looking for help, join the conversation naturally, and make a useful recommendation without sounding like an advertisement?

TaskNuts is hiring Social Media Scouts.

TaskNuts is a U.S.-based home services marketplace that helps homeowners get repairs and maintenance handled while connecting contractors with real jobs.

We are building a human-powered organic customer acquisition team.

We are NOT looking for someone to create content calendars, schedule posts, grow followers, or spam links.

WHAT YOU'LL ACTUALLY DO

Your job is to find existing online conversations where there is already real intent.

For example:

A homeowner posts:

"Can anyone recommend a reliable handyman? I have several small repairs I need done."

A person asks:

"Does anyone know a plumber who will actually show up?"

A contractor says:

"I'm tired of paying for leads that never turn into jobs."

Your job is to find these conversations, determine whether TaskNuts is genuinely relevant, and participate naturally and helpfully.

You'll primarily be searching for U.S. homeowners who need home repair, maintenance, or improvement services. You may also recruit contractors when TaskNuts is actively seeking additional contractors in a particular market or trade.

YOU DON'T NEED TO BE GREAT AT EVERY PLATFORM

We actually prefer specialists.

Maybe you know Facebook Groups extremely well.

Maybe Reddit is your world.

Maybe you're great at finding communities on ---------- .

Maybe you understand TikTok or YouTube search and comments better than everyone else.

We are hiring multiple Scouts with different strengths.

Tell us which platform you are exceptionally good at.

PAY

Base Pay: $3 USD/hour

We are open to starting at approximately 10–20 hours per week during the initial training/performance period.

Scouts who demonstrate strong performance can quickly move to up to 40 hours per week.

But the hourly rate is only one part of the compensation.

You can also earn performance bonuses and ongoing residual bonuses from qualified homeowners and contractors you bring to TaskNuts.

HOMEOWNER BONUSES

$2 for each qualified homeowner signup with a verified property

$20 when that homeowner completes their first TaskNuts job within 60 days

$10 if their first completed job occurs after 60 days

$10 for each subsequent completed job

CONTRACTOR BONUSES

When contractor recruitment is open for the applicable market/trade:

$2 for each qualified contractor signup

$30 when that contractor completes their first TaskNuts job

$2 for each subsequent completed job

THE RESIDUAL OPPORTUNITY

This is what makes the Scout Program different.

Qualified homeowners and contractors you acquire remain attributed to your Scout account while you remain eligible under the TaskNuts Scout Program.

If a homeowner you recruited returns months later and completes another job, that activity can generate another bonus for you.

If you recruit a great contractor who goes on to complete many TaskNuts jobs, their future completed jobs can continue generating bonuses for you.

The goal is to build a growing book of TaskNuts users, not simply work hours.

Performance and residual earnings are not guaranteed and are subject to TaskNuts Scout Program qualification rules and continued good standing.

You'll be able to see:

Homeowners you've acquired
Contractors you've acquired
Qualified signups
Completed-job activity
Bonuses and residuals you've earned
Your referral links

We handle the attribution and tracking so you can focus on finding opportunities.

We do not want spam.

No fake testimonials.

No pretending to be a TaskNuts customer.

No fake U.S. identities.

No mass copy-and-paste comments.

No indiscriminate link dropping.

No bots or automated mass posting.

No circumventing Facebook Group, subreddit, ---------- server, or other community rules.

We want Scouts who understand how to become useful participants in online communities.

WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR

You should have:

Strong written English
A good understanding of natural U.S. online conversation
Excellent internet research skills
Resourcefulness
Good judgment
An understanding of online communities
The ability to recognize real buying intent
The ability to work independently
A performance-driven mindset

Experience with social media, lead generation, community management, online research, or customer acquisition is helpful, but resourcefulness matters more to us than your previous job title.
