Wix Website Designer + On-Page SEO | Long-Term Project-Based Opportunity

Divine Flow Digital is a growing U.S.-based website design, SEO, and digital marketing agency looking for a talented Wix Website Designer to become a long-term part of our website production process.

We work with small and growing businesses throughout the United States across a wide variety of industries. Our websites are designed to be professional, modern, strategic, user-friendly, search-optimized, and customized to each client’s individual brand.

I’m not looking for someone for just one project. I’m looking for a reliable designer I can build a long-term working relationship with as the agency continues to grow.

IMPORTANT: Wix Editor Experience Required

Our agency primarily builds websites using the standard Wix Editor, not Wix Studio.

You should be highly experienced and comfortable designing directly within Wix Editor, including desktop and mobile layouts.

Wix Studio experience is welcome, but projects assigned through this position will primarily be built in Wix Editor.

About the Role

This is a project-based, non-client-facing position.

I will handle client communication, website strategy, project management, copywriting/content development, keyword and SEO strategy, and overall creative direction.

For each project, you’ll receive the information and direction needed to complete the website, including:

• Website copy/content
• Client branding and colors
• Logo and brand assets
• Page requirements
• Business information
• Images or image direction
• SEO/keyword direction
• Website examples or creative direction when applicable

Your job will be to take those materials and turn them into a polished, professional, fully optimized Wix website ready for final review.

Website Design Responsibilities

• Design and build websites in Wix Editor
• Create professional page layouts from provided content
• Follow established branding and creative direction
• Create strong visual hierarchy throughout each page
• Select and place appropriate imagery when needed
• Create clean, consistent typography and spacing
• Optimize desktop and mobile layouts
• Set up navigation, buttons, forms, links, and basic Wix functionality
• Complete design revisions based on feedback
• Perform a thorough quality check before submitting each website for review
• Maintain a consistent level of quality across projects

On-Page SEO Responsibilities

Each website should also be properly set up and optimized within Wix before being submitted for final review.

This may include:

• Proper H1, H2, and H3 heading structure
• Page title tags
• Meta descriptions
• SEO-friendly page URLs
• Image alt text
• Internal linking
• Basic image optimization
• Wix SEO settings completed for each page
• Wix SEO Setup Checklist completed where applicable
• Indexing settings reviewed
• Social sharing settings/images when applicable
• Basic schema/structured data markup implementation
• Checking that important pages are accessible to search engines
• Final review of Wix SEO settings before submission

SEO strategy, target keywords, and content direction will be provided. You will be responsible for correctly implementing the provided SEO strategy within the website.

Training can be provided for our specific SEO processes and standards, but familiarity with on-page SEO and Wix SEO tools is strongly preferred.
