Shopify Store Operator — AI-Driven Store (Systems-Minded, Full-Time)
Confidential employer
FIRST — PLEASE ANSWER HONESTLY: This is a full-time role, about 40–50 hours per week, working US Eastern business hours (this is a night shift in the Philippines). Can you genuinely commit to that long-term? Put YES or NO at the very top of your reply — only say yes if you truly can.
About us
We're a USA-based premium contemporary home décor brand — sculptural furniture, lighting, mirrors, and wall art. Our product pages read like a design gallery, not a discount store. We're looking for one sharp, detail-obsessed person to help us run and grow the store. You'll work US-friendly hours; we'll confirm the exact window.
What you'll do
- Operate our AI-driven store (the core). We run a custom dashboard, an AI agent system, and automation that does a lot of the work. Your job is to understand how it all fits together and run the machine — the right tool, the right step, in the right order.
- Run the AI listing pipeline. Our AI generates the product listings; you operate the workflow, push products live, and keep them flowing as new products arrive. You operate it — you don't write the copy.
- Quality-check for accuracy. Catch the factual errors that matter — wrong dimensions, wrong price, wrong product — before anything goes live.
- Own the store day to day. Handle whatever the Shopify store and storefront need; you're the go-to operator for "the store."
- Troubleshoot. When something looks off (wrong stock on the site, a product not showing, automation acting up), figure out where the problem is and drive the fix or flag it clearly.
This is NOT a copywriting job (the AI writes), NOT customer support, and NOT a basic listings job. It's a run-the-system role for someone who likes understanding how things work.
Who you are
- You're systems-minded and tech-comfortable. You enjoy learning how a complex setup works and can reason about how the pieces connect. You don't need to code — you need to "get" how things run and operate inside them. This is the most important thing.
- You use AI tools (ChatGPT / Claude) daily, know how to drive them to a good result, and can tell when the output is wrong.
- You're comfortable in Shopify (products, variants, collections, the draft-to-active flow).
- You're a troubleshooter — when something breaks, you trace it instead of guessing.
- You're adaptable — happy owning "the whole store," not just ticking off a fixed task list.
- You're meticulous about accuracy. A wrong dimension or price drives you crazy.
- Your written English is strong enough to communicate clearly. (You won't be writing product copy — the AI does that — so polished marketing writing is not required.)
What we offer
- Competitive pay with real raises as you grow.
- Full-time, long-term, stable work with one company (not juggling clients).
- 13th-month pay / year-end bonus plus performance bonuses.
- A founder who values good work and gives clear direction.
HOW TO APPLY (please read — applications that skip a step won't be reviewed)
1. Start your message with the word ATELIER so we know you actually read this post.
2. Tell us: in 2–3 sentences, describe a system, tool, or automated workflow you learned and operated — and how you used an AI tool (ChatGPT, Claude, etc.) in your work.
3. Quick reasoning question. Imagine a store set up like this: a dashboard pushes inventory to Shopify; an AI tool drafts the product listings; nothing goes live until a person approves it. A customer reports that a product shows the wrong stock number on the website. In a few sentences: how would you figure out where the problem is? (We're not looking for a "correct" answer — we want to see how you think through a system.)
We read every application that follows these three steps. We're excited to meet you.
