Vendor Sourcing & Quote Assistant (Google Search)

We are looking for a reliable Virtual Assistant to help source local service providers and obtain quotes for our growing nationwide commercial pallet removal business and B2B product businesses.

We receive pallet removal requests and B2B product requests from businesses throughout the United States and Internationally. These requests come in at different times throughout the business day, so we need someone who can be available and responsive during agreed-upon U.S. business hours (9am - 5pm EST).

This is an email -based position. No phone calls or cold calling are required.

When a new project is assigned, you will research companies near the customer's location that may be able to perform the service, find their website, fill out their online form with the template provided, and collect their email if they do not have a form on their site.

Responsibilities

Receive pallet removal projects and B2B leads from us throughout the day
Search Google for appropriate local / keyword specific service providers
Find company websites and email addresses/contact forms
Send quote requests using templates we provide
Contact multiple companies for each project to obtain competitive pricing

Your job is to help us find qualified companies on Google that can perform the work and obtain their pricing based on the keywords I will provide.

You will simply submit the template provided on their website contact forms and collect their email if there is no form on their site, and I will send the email from my inbox.

Schedule

This is an on-call/variable workload position during U.S. business hours (9am - 5pm EST).

You will not necessarily be working continuously throughout the entire availability window. However, we need someone who can monitor for new assignments and respond reasonably quickly when a new lead is sent.

Some days may have several quote requests, while other days may have very little work.

We are looking for someone interested in a long-term position. As our lead volume increases, the amount of available work is expected to increase as well.

Ideal Candidate

You should be:

Very good at Google research
Comfortable finding businesses throughout the United States
Able to determine which companies are actually relevant to a project
Good at written English and professional communication
Organized and able to manage multiple open quote requests
Able to follow instructions and templates
Responsive during agreed-upon working hours
Able to work independently without constant supervision

Experience with vendor sourcing, procurement, logistics, trucking, recycling, waste management, construction services, subcontractor sourcing, or government contracting quotes is helpful but not required.
