AI Automation & Agent Developer (Python / APIs / n8n) - Long Term
Confidential employer
We are FACT-TALENTS GmbH, a German recruitment company specialized in finance and accounting.
Over the past year we have built a lot of our own software with AI: automation agents, internal web tools, a large internal sales handbook website, email and CRM automations. Everything runs. But it now needs one person who maintains it, fixes it, and keeps building new agents on top of it.
We are looking for ONE reliable long-term developer who takes ownership of this. Not an agency, not a "team" - one person we work with directly and grow with.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Maintain and fix our existing AI agents and automations
- Build new agents and workflows (LLM-based, connected to our systems)
- Integrate tools via APIs: CRM, email infrastructure, internal tools
- Maintain and extend our internal web tools (HTML/CSS/JS, hosted on Netlify)
- Move our deployments to GitHub with continuous deployment
- Write short, clear documentation so nothing lives only in one person's head
- Send a short written progress update once a day
WHAT YOU MUST HAVE
- Real experience with LLM APIs (Anthropic/Claude, OpenAI or similar):
prompting, structured JSON output, tool/function calling
- REST APIs, JSON, webhooks, authentication - you can read any documentation
and integrate it yourself
- Git / GitHub
- HTML, CSS, JavaScript - enough to confidently edit and extend web pages
- Automation platforms (n8n, Make or Zapier) - n8n preferred
- You debug independently. When something breaks, you find the cause before
you ask us.
- Python - this is the core of the job
- Good written English
NICE TO HAVE
- Self-hosted n8n, Docker
- Email infrastructure / deliverability experience (we run a large sending setup)
- RAG / vector databases
- Web scraping
- A basic eye for clean UI
WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
Honestly: we need someone who thinks, not someone who waits for instructions.
Our requests will often come as rough ideas, not as finished specifications.
You should be able to ask two good questions, then build a sensible first
version and show it to us. Reliability and communication matter more to us
than being a genius.
WORKING SETUP
- Full-time, 40 hours per week, home-based
- Long-term - we are planning in years, not in weeks
- We are based in Germany (CET). We need roughly 3-4 hours of daily overlap
with our morning, which is about 15:00-19:00 Manila time. The rest of your
hours are flexible.
- Paid monthly, on time, every time
- 13th month bonus after one full year with us
- Process: small PAID test project first, then 1 month probation, then permanent
HOW TO APPLY
Please do not send a generic application. We read every single one, and
copy-paste applications get deleted immediately.
1. Start your message with this word: AGENT-FIX
2. Answer these three questions in your own words:
a) What is the most complex automation or AI agent you have built?
What did it do, and what part of it broke most often?
b) Which LLM APIs have you worked with, and what did you build with them?
c) An agent suddenly starts producing wrong output. What are the first
three things you check?
3. Send links to 1-3 things you have built (GitHub, live tools, screenshots
or a short screen recording).
4. Tell us your expected monthly salary for 40 hours per week.
Bonus, not required: a 2-minute Loom video where you walk us through one
thing you built.
We reply to every serious application.
