1. About the Role
We are a skincare brand in California. We are seeking a versatile SEO & Content Growth Specialist to expand our organic digital footprint. You will lead our on-page SEO, author engaging blog content, and spearhead authentic organic engagement across niche online communities—specifically Reddit and discussion forums. You understand how to produce content that ranks on search engines while connecting meaningfully with real people.
2. Key Responsibilities
SEO Strategy & Research: Conduct keyword research, competitive analysis, and search intent mapping to identify organic ranking opportunities.
Content Creation: Write well-researched, engaging, and SEO-optimized long-form blog articles, educational guides, and website copy.
On-Page & Technical Optimization: Optimize title tags, meta descriptions, internal linking, URL structures, and image alt text.
Reddit & Community Outreach: Actively engage in relevant subreddits and online communities with value-first discussions, answering questions and building brand awareness without coming across as spam.
Performance Tracking: Monitor keyword rankings, organic traffic trends, backlinks, and organic conversions using tools like Google Search Console, Ahrefs/Semrush, and Google Analytics.
3. Qualifications
2–3+ years of experience in SEO writing, content marketing, or digital community management.
Deep personal interest in the skincare and clean beauty industry, with an intuitive understanding of trending ingredients, skin concerns, and consumer discussions.
Excellent native-level writing, editing, and storytelling skills with a keen eye for brand voice and search intent.
Proven familiarity with Reddit culture (e.g., r/SkincareAddiction, r/AsianBeauty, r/Beauty) and organic forum etiquette.
Proficiency with SEO tools (Ahrefs, Semrush, Google Search Console) and e-commerce CMS platforms (Shopify, WordPress).
4. Employment Type: Part-Time (can be Full-Time depending on the workload and performance)
