I'm looking for a reliable video editor to work with long-term.

I run an online fitness coaching business for men 300lbs+ and regularly create short-form content and ads for Instagram, Facebook and other platforms: ----------

I'm NOT looking for someone to work 40 hours a week.

I'm looking for an editing partner I can keep on standby and message whenever I have content that needs editing.

Sometimes I'll need 1 video edited.
Sometimes I'll send you 5–20 videos at once.
Other times there may be nothing for a few days.

The important thing is that when I send you an edit, you're reliable, responsive and can get it done quickly.

???? PAY
$8 USD per reel

• Videos are typically 1–2 minutes maximum.
• I'm looking for someone I can build a long-term relationship with, not someone for a one-off project.

???? THE STYLE I'M LOOKING FOR

I want someone who can create high-retention, modern short-form videos and ads similar to the style/content on:

The editing should feel:

• Fast-paced
• Clean
• Professional
• Premium
• High-retention
• Attention-grabbing
• Native to Instagram/Reels
• Not overly flashy or cheesy
• Strong subtitles/captions
• Good pacing and cuts
• Strategic zooms/punch-ins
• B-roll when appropriate
• Visual emphasis on important words/points
• Designed to keep someone watching

I do NOT want generic CapCut-style edits with random effects thrown everywhere.
I want someone who understands why an edit works, not someone who simply knows how to cut clips together.

???? AUDIO QUALITY — BIG BONUS

Bonus points if you're genuinely good at audio editing.
I want the final videos to sound clean, crisp and professional.

Things like:

• Removing background noise
• Improving voice clarity
• Balancing audio levels
• Cleaning up echo/room noise
• Making speech sound more professional
• Adding subtle sound effects when appropriate
• Making sure music/B-roll doesn't overpower the voice

You don't need to be a professional audio engineer.

But if you know how to take average raw audio and make it sound significantly better, that's a BIG plus.
Basically:
Don't just make the video look good — make it sound good too.

???? ENGLISH IS IMPORTANT
You must have good English.
A big part of the job involves creating accurate subtitles, so you need to be able to understand what I'm saying and correctly subtitle the videos.
You'll need to have:

• Good English comprehension
• Good spelling and grammar
• Accurate subtitle/captioning skills
• Good attention to detail
• Clear communication

If your English is poor, please don't apply.

⚡ RELIABILITY IS EXTREMELY IMPORTANT
This is probably the most important part of the job.
I don't need you available 24/7.
But when I message you:
"Hey, I've got 3 videos for you."
I need to know that you'll actually respond and get them done.

I'm looking for someone who:

• Responds reasonably quickly
• Meets deadlines
• Doesn't disappear
• Takes initiative
• Can work independently
• Pays attention to detail
• Is open to feedback
• Can follow instructions
• Wants to build a long-term working relationship

Initially, I'll give you examples and feedback so you understand exactly how I want the videos edited.

Once you understand my style, I want you to be able to take a raw video and run with it.

I'll generally provide:

• Raw video footage
• The topic/script/context
• Examples of the editing style
• Any specific instructions

You handle the editing and deliver the finished reel.

I'm not expecting you to be available all day.

I just need to know that when I send work through, you can communicate with me and get it done.
