Content & Social Media Specialist

Storm Internet Services is an established Canadian Internet services company serving primarily rural customers in and around Ottawa, Ontario. We are looking for an experienced Content & Social Media Specialist to help create and manage our marketing communications.

This position requires an excellent English-language writer who can produce clear, engaging and persuasive content for Canadian customers and then adapt that content across our website, email and social media channels.

Responsibilities will include:

Write website and landing-page content.
Write newsletters and customer communications.
Develop promotional email copy.
Create blog and SEO-oriented website content.
Write customer testimonials and success stories.
Develop and maintain FAQ and knowledge-base content.
Turn technical information into clear customer-friendly copy.
Develop social media content calendars.
Write and schedule Facebook and Instagram content.
Create promotional posts and Facebook events.
Manage routine social media engagement.
Adapt longer-form content for social media.
Coordinate visual requirements with our Graphic Designer.
Work with our HubSpot specialist on email campaigns.
Work with our WordPress specialist on website content.
Maintain a consistent brand voice across all channels.
Monitor content and social-media performance.

The successful candidate should have excellent written English, strong copywriting skills and demonstrated experience in content marketing and social media management. Knowledge of SEO is important. Experience writing for Canadian, U.S. or other North American audiences is strongly preferred.
