WordPress / Web & CRO Specialist

Storm Internet Services is an established Canadian Internet services company serving primarily rural customers in and around Ottawa, Ontario. We are looking for an experienced WordPress / Web & CRO Specialist to support our website, campaign landing pages and online lead-generation activities.

We need more than someone who can make basic WordPress changes. The successful candidate should understand how web development, user experience, SEO and conversion rate optimization work together to generate leads.

Responsibilities will include:

Build WordPress landing pages for products, geographic markets and marketing campaigns.
Update and improve existing website pages.
Implement campaign pages using supplied copy and creative.
Create and update website forms.
Integrate WordPress forms and landing pages with HubSpot.
Improve website usability and user experience.
Apply conversion rate optimization principles.
Improve calls-to-action and lead-generation pathways.
Perform WordPress theme and plugin modifications.
Troubleshoot WordPress issues.
Make HTML/CSS and basic JavaScript changes.
Ensure pages work effectively on mobile devices.
Apply on-page SEO best practices.
Improve page speed and technical performance where appropriate.
Support Google Analytics and conversion tracking.
Maintain appropriate web accessibility standards.
Work with our Content Specialist and Graphic Designer to turn campaign concepts into finished web pages.
Proactively recommend improvements to our website.

The successful candidate should have significant professional WordPress experience and a strong portfolio of websites and landing pages personally developed. Experience with SEO, UX and conversion rate optimization is important. Experience integrating WordPress and HubSpot would be a significant advantage.
