Storm Internet Services is an established Canadian Internet services company serving primarily rural customers in and around Ottawa, Ontario. We are looking for an experienced Graphic Designer to create professional print and digital marketing materials.
Our marketing combines digital campaigns with significant local and community-based marketing, so we need someone who is equally comfortable creating professional print collateral and digital graphics.
Projects will include:
Flyers.
Brochures.
Direct-mail pieces.
Door hangers.
Lawn signs.
Posters.
Event signage.
Business cards.
Digital advertisements.
Website graphics.
Landing-page graphics.
Social media graphics.
Email graphics.
Web banners.
Promotional materials.
Logo and brand adaptations.
Occasional presentation graphics.
Occasional basic video or multimedia work.
Responsibilities will include:
Turn marketing briefs and concepts into polished designs.
Maintain consistency with our brand standards.
Produce versions suitable for print, web, email and social media.
Prepare professional print-ready artwork.
Correctly manage bleed, trim, resolution, typography and other print-production requirements.
Optimize graphics for digital use.
Maintain organized source files so materials can be updated and reused.
Work closely with our Content, HubSpot and WordPress specialists.
Recommend creative improvements to marketing campaigns.
The successful candidate should have a strong professional portfolio and significant experience producing commercial marketing collateral. Strong Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign skills are required. Experience preparing artwork for commercial printers is particularly important.
