About the Role

Appointment Setter Internship – Beginner Friendly | $250 First Month

SHOOT ME A TEXT TO APPLY ON ---------- (317) ---------- We are looking for a motivated Appointment Setter Intern who wants to gain real-world experience in online sales, lead generation, and social media appointment setting.

No previous appointment-setting experience is required.

This opportunity is specifically designed for someone who is hungry to learn, coachable, dependable, and looking to develop a valuable skill that can lead to a long-term opportunity.

Work Schedule

Tuesday – Saturday

6:00 PM – 10:00 PM Eastern Time (ET)

4 hours per day / 20 hours per week

You must be available and actively working for the entire scheduled shift.

During every shift, you will be expected to:

  • Message me when you clock in
  • Message me when you clock out
  • Stay actively working and managing prospect conversations
  • Remain in communication throughout your shift
  • Respond to me within 20 minutes during working hours
  • Communicate immediately if there is ever an issue, emergency, or reason you cannot complete your responsibilities
  • Complete your assigned prospecting and follow-ups before clocking out

Reliability and communication are extremely important for this position.

Compensation

The first month of the internship pays $250 USD.

The goal of this internship is to give a beginner the opportunity to receive hands-on training, develop real appointment-setting skills, and potentially earn a long-term position on our team.

7-Day Performance Trial

Your first 7 working days will serve as a performance-based trial period within the internship.

You are NOT expected to be an expert during your first week.

We understand that you are learning.

What we are looking for is your ability to:

  • Show up consistently
  • Follow instructions
  • Communicate
  • Take feedback
  • Implement what you're taught
  • Put in effort
  • Improve each day

After the 7-day trial, we will evaluate your performance and determine whether you will continue through the remainder of the internship.

If you meet the standards expected during the trial, you will move forward with the full internship.

Daily Standards During Your Trial

Every day, you are expected to:

  • Show up on time for your scheduled shift
  • Message me when you clock in
  • Message me when you clock out
  • Start and manage conversations with prospects
  • Follow the scripts and training provided
  • Complete your assigned follow-ups
  • Stay in communication throughout your shift
  • Respond to me within 20 minutes during working hours
  • Communicate immediately if there is ever an issue
  • Take feedback without becoming defensive
  • Implement corrections and coaching
  • Keep track of conversations and booked appointments
  • Remain professional when communicating with prospects
  • Show consistent effort throughout your entire shift

Repeated lateness, disappearing during shifts, failing to communicate, ignoring instructions, or consistently failing to complete assigned work may result in you not continuing with the internship.

What You Will Learn

Starting Conversations

You will learn how to naturally start conversations with potential prospects without sounding robotic, pushy, or spammy.

Managing Conversations

You will learn how to keep conversations moving forward, ask good questions, understand someone's situation, and identify potential opportunities.

Qualifying Leads

You will learn how to determine whether someone is a qualified potential client based on their:

  • Goals
  • Current struggles
  • Motivation
  • Urgency
  • Situation
  • Willingness to make a change

Your job is NOT to convince everyone.

Your job is to identify the right people and move qualified prospects toward the next step.

Following Our Scripts

You will receive scripts, examples, and frameworks to help guide your conversations.

However, we do NOT want someone who blindly copies and pastes messages.

You will learn how to follow a framework while still communicating naturally based on what the prospect actually tells you.

Following Up With Prospects

You will learn how to properly follow up with people who:

  • Stop responding
  • Show interest but don't book
  • Say they need more time
  • Have previously interacted with our content or business

Follow-up will be an important part of your daily responsibilities.

Booking Qualified Appointments

The primary goal of your role is to turn qualified conversations into booked sales calls.

You are NOT responsible for closing the sale.

Your responsibility is to:

Start Conversation → Understand Their Problem → Qualify → Build Interest → Book the Call

Communication & Professionalism

You will also learn how to work professionally as part of a remote sales team.

That includes:

  • Communicating problems immediately
  • Staying accountable
  • Taking coaching
  • Tracking your work
  • Managing your time
  • Following processes
  • Becoming increasingly independent

What We Will Evaluate During Your 7-Day Trial

Your trial is not based solely on how many appointments you book.

Because this is a beginner-level position, we will primarily evaluate:

  • Did you show up on time every day?
  • Did you properly clock in and clock out?
  • Did you stay active throughout your shift?
  • Did you communicate consistently?
  • Did you respond within 20 minutes?
  • Did you complete your assigned work?
  • Did you start conversations consistently?
  • Did you manage conversations properly?
  • Did you complete your follow-ups?
  • Did you follow the scripts and training?
  • Did you implement feedback?
  • Are your conversations improving?
  • Are you becoming better at identifying qualified prospects?
  • Are you taking initiative?
  • Are you someone we can trust to eventually work independently?

We expect beginners to make mistakes.

Making a mistake will not automatically disqualify you.

What matters is whether you listen, learn, correct the mistake, and avoid repeatedly making the same mistakes.

After the First Month

At the end of the 30-day internship, your overall performance will be reviewed.

Interns who demonstrate strong:

  • Reliability
  • Communication
  • Coachability
  • Work ethic
  • Consistency
  • Improvement
  • Lead qualification
  • Appointment-setting ability

may be offered the opportunity to continue in a long-term appointment setter position with increased compensation and performance incentives.

Our goal is to find someone we can train and develop into a valuable long-term member of the team.

Who We're Looking For

This position is ideal for someone who:

  • Wants to break into online sales
  • Wants real appointment-setting experience
  • Is willing to start as a beginner
  • Has strong written English
  • Is comfortable communicating with people online
  • Is dependable
  • Is coachable
  • Can follow instructions
  • Takes accountability
  • Has good communication skills
  • Wants to improve
  • Is willing to work Tuesday through Saturday
  • Can consistently work 6:00 PM – 10:00 PM Eastern Time
  • Wants the opportunity to earn a long-term position

We would rather work with someone who has zero experience but is hungry, coachable, and reliable than someone with experience who has poor work ethic.

How to Apply

Please answer the following questions:

1. Why do you want to learn appointment setting?
2. Do you have any experience with social media, customer service, sales, or communicating with people online?
3. Why do you believe you would be a good fit for this internship?
4. Can you consistently work Tuesday through Saturday from 6:00 PM – 10:00 PM Eastern Time?
5. Where would you like to be professionally within the next 1–2 years?

IMPORTANT

Start your application with the keyword:

SETTER250

If your application does not begin with SETTER250, it may not be reviewed.

This is intentional. We want people who pay attention to instructions.

We are looking for someone who may be a beginner today but has the work ethic, hunger, communication, and coachability to become an excellent appointment setter.
