About the Role

A few of the core principles of Reality Transurfing are:

Reduce importance.
Zeland argues that when you desperately need something to happen, you create "excess potential." In his system, excessive attachment actually creates resistance.
Idea: Want the outcome, move toward it, but don't make your happiness depend on it.
Don't fight pendulums.
A "pendulum" is a collective structure that feeds on people's attention and emotional energy—politics, arguments, social expectations, trends, organizations, etc. Fighting something can actually give it more of your attention.
Idea: Instead of fighting what you don't want, withdraw your attention and move toward what you do want.
Choose rather than desire.
There's a major distinction between wanting a reality and internally treating it as something you've chosen. Zeland emphasizes intention over wishing.
Simplified: Don't think, "I desperately hope I become this person." Operate from "This is where I'm going."
Your "slide" influences your reality.
A slide is essentially the internal picture you repeatedly carry of yourself and your life. Zeland teaches deliberately creating a positive slide depicting the reality you want and experiencing it internally rather than merely watching it like a movie.
Stop forcing the path.
Transurfing distinguishes inner intention—trying to force circumstances through your own effort—from outer intention, where circumstances seemingly begin aligning with your chosen direction.
Idea: Keep taking action, but don't insist that your goal must happen through one particular route.
The alternatives flow.
Instead of constantly trying to control everything, Zeland teaches paying attention to what reality is presenting and taking the path that opens naturally rather than unnecessarily battling circumstances.

The overarching Transurfing idea is basically:

Stop fighting reality to get what you want. Choose the reality you want, align yourself with it, reduce your attachment to the outcome, and move in its direction.

One caveat: concepts such as the "alternatives space" and "outer intention" are part of Zeland's metaphysical framework, not established scientific principles.

Interestingly, #3 and #4 are the closest parallels to identity programming: instead of continually viewing the desired version of yourself as someone you're trying to become, you repeatedly operate from the internal representation of "this is who I am."

Can the amount of calories that you burn be increased simply by breathing differently? Because I'm thinking about how if you control your breathing, you can keep your heart rate at a certain pace, but if you change your breathing, you could inevitably heighten the heart rate. So does that mean the way you breathe can burn more calories? And if so, could you burn a significant amount of calories simply by controlling your breathing or breathing a certain way to get your heart rate up without working out?

Yes, changing your breathing can change your energy expenditure, but there's an important catch: raising your heart rate through breathing does not automatically mean you're burning a meaningful number of additional calories.

Your intuition has part of the mechanism right, but heart rate and calorie expenditure aren't causally interchangeable.

What happens when you deliberately breathe harder?

Breathing itself requires muscular work. Your diaphragm, intercostal muscles, and accessory respiratory muscles consume energy. If you intentionally breathe faster or deeper, those muscles work harder, so calorie expenditure rises somewhat.

Certain breathing patterns can also activate your sympathetic nervous system and increase heart rate.

But here's the key distinction:

High heart rate ≠ necessarily high calorie burn.

During exercise, your heart rate rises primarily because your working muscles suddenly need much more oxygen and fuel. Your heart is responding to the body's increased metabolic demand.

If you intentionally breathe rapidly while sitting still, you can increase your heart rate without creating anything close to the metabolic demand of running, cycling, etc.

Think:

Exercise:
Muscles work → ATP demand skyrockets → oxygen demand increases → heart pumps faster → substantial calories expended.

Deliberate rapid breathing:
Breathing changes → nervous-system/CO₂ changes → heart rate may increase → skeletal-muscle energy demand remains relatively low → relatively little additional calorie expenditure.

So if you sat on the couch and deliberately manipulated your breathing until your heart rate reached, say, 120 bpm, that would not mean you're burning the same calories as when your heart reaches 120 bpm from walking uphill.

Could you theoretically burn significant calories through breathing alone?

Under normal circumstances, not enough to make it a useful fat-loss strategy.

Your respiratory muscles already account for some energy expenditure, and making breathing substantially harder can increase their metabolic cost. But to make breathing itself consume large amounts of energy, you'd essentially have to make the respiratory muscles perform strenuous work—which isn't a practical substitute for exercise.

There's another interesting distinction: fat does literally leave your body largely through your lungs. When triglycerides are metabolized, much of their mass eventually leaves as carbon dioxide you exhale, with the remainder largely becoming water.

But that does not mean:

"Exhale more → lose more fat."

You have to oxidize the stored fuel first. Breathing is largely the exit route for the carbon; simply moving more air doesn't force your body to burn large quantities of fat.

Here's the interesting implication of your idea

If your objective were to burn calories without conventional exercise, manipulating breathing isn't the lever I'd choose.

Increasing muscular activity is dramatically more effective. Even low-intensity movement—walking, standing more, pacing, household activity, taking stairs, fidgeting—raises energy expenditure because you're making large skeletal muscles repeatedly consume ATP.

So your original hypothesis is directionally correct:

Different breathing → potentially higher heart rate + slightly greater energy expenditure.

But this part doesn't follow:

Higher heart rate from breathing → exercise-level calorie expenditure.

Heart rate is a useful proxy for energy expenditure during certain kinds of exercise; it isn't the thing actually causing most of those calories to be burned.

And deliberately hyperventilating to drive your heart rate up isn't a good strategy—it can lower CO₂ enough to cause dizziness, tingling, lightheadedness, or fainting.

Make this job post more official and clear: I am looking for an ongoing HiggField and HeyGen expert to create video content. 99% of the videos created will be simple talking head videos that you're using Kling Motion to copy the movements and put in on the avatar in HiggsField. An avatar is already set up, but it can be continually improved and given more "looks".

The majority of the videos are short and extremely simple. The goal is to scale to 100 videos/month.

Pay for the simple Kling Motion videos will be $5 per video. Videos that are more complex than the talking head -> talking head with Kling motion will be $10 per video. If a video's length outside of talking head requires a lot of editing, different pricing for a specific video can be discussed.

AI Video Creator — Higgsfield, Kling Motion & HeyGen

I’m looking for an experienced AI Video Creator for an ongoing position producing high-volume short-form video content using Higgsfield, Kling Motion, and HeyGen.

What You’ll Be Doing

Approximately 99% of the content will be straightforward talking-head videos. The primary workflow will be:

Reference Video → Kling Motion → Existing Avatar in Higgsfield → Finished Talking-Head Video

The primary avatar has already been created and is ready to use. However, I’d also like someone capable of continually improving the avatar and developing additional realistic looks, outfits, environments, and variations while maintaining consistent identity.

The videos will generally be short and simple. The goal is to eventually scale production to approximately 100 videos per month, so I’m looking for someone reliable who can maintain both quality and consistency at volume.

Compensation

$5/video — Standard talking-head videos using the established Kling Motion/Higgsfield workflow.

$10/video — Videos requiring more complexity than the standard talking-head workflow.

For videos requiring substantial additional editing, effects, or production work, pricing will be discussed and agreed upon separately before the project begins.

What I’m Looking For

Experience with Higgsfield is required, with a strong ability to create highly realistic AI-generated people and videos.

Experience with Kling Motion and HeyGen is strongly preferred.

When applying, please include examples of your most photorealistic Higgsfield video work. If you have examples created with Kling Motion and/or HeyGen, please include those as well.

Paid Trial

Qualified applicants will receive a reference video and the avatar to create a Kling Motion test video.

The creator selected for the ongoing position will be paid for the completed trial video.
