About the Role

Marie’s Promise Clean Home, an established residential cleaning company in Pennsylvania, USA, is looking for a full time Recruiting & People Operations Coordinator to join our remote team.

We are looking for someone confident, organized, proactive, and great with people. Your primary responsibility will be managing our cleaner recruiting and hiring process from beginning to end.

This is not a position where you simply schedule interviews. You will actually speak with candidates, conduct phone and Zoom interviews, evaluate applicants, follow up with them, and help us make good hiring decisions.

Your Primary Responsibilities

Recruiting & Hiring

  • Manage job postings and keep recruiting ads active
  • Review incoming applications daily
  • Contact qualified applicants quickly
  • Conduct initial phone screening interviews
  • Conduct Zoom video interviews
  • Evaluate candidates using our established hiring criteria
  • Identify potential red flags and ask appropriate follow up questions
  • Take detailed interview notes
  • Follow up with candidates consistently
  • Keep every candidate's status updated in our recruiting system
  • Make hiring recommendations
  • Communicate next steps to candidates
  • Send offers and rejection messages
  • Coordinate background checks and pre employment requirements
  • Maintain an active pipeline of potential candidates
  • Proactively source candidates when applications are slow
  • Reconnect with previous qualified applicants when appropriate
  • Track recruiting activity and results

Onboarding & People Operations

During slower recruiting periods, you will also help with employee related administrative responsibilities, including:

  • Coordinate new hire onboarding
  • Make sure required paperwork is completed
  • Confirm orientation, training, and first day information
  • Follow up with new hires before their start date
  • Maintain organized employee and onboarding records
  • Track training and required documentation
  • Assist with employee file maintenance
  • Keep hiring and onboarding procedures organized and up to date
  • Data tracking
  • Help with other people operations and administrative projects as needed

Who We're Looking For

You should be:

  • Fluent in spoken and written English
  • Very comfortable speaking with US based applicants
  • Confident conducting both phone and video interviews
  • Professional and personable on Zoom
  • Comfortable leading a conversation and asking follow up questions
  • Able to evaluate people, not simply read questions from a script
  • Highly organized and detail oriented
  • Excellent at follow up
  • Comfortable working independently
  • Able to take ownership of a process without needing constant reminders
  • Reliable and consistent with documentation
  • Comfortable learning new software and systems

Previous experience in recruiting, HR, interviewing, staffing, customer service, sales, or call center work is strongly preferred.

Experience recruiting hourly employees, cleaners, hospitality employees, home service workers, or other frontline employees is a big plus.

Schedule

Full time, Monday through Friday
Must be available during US Eastern Time business hours
