ABOUT THE ROLE

We're a friendly digital marketing agency working with ecommerce and hobby brands: anime-inspired brands, trading card games (Magic, Pokémon, sports cards), collectibles, and local game stores. We love this world, and we're looking for a designer who does too.

We're after someone who makes designs that look great and get people to click and buy. If you've got a good eye and solid work to show, we'd love to hear from you.

WHAT YOU'LL DO
==============

• Design marketing email s that are clean, on-brand, mobile-first, and built to convert.
• Create static ads and social media content.
• Whip up multiple versions of a design for testing.
• Match each client's brand and keep it consistent.
• Help build brand guidelines for clients who don't have them yet.
• Take feedback and turn revisions around fast.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
======================

• A good eye for clean, modern design, and a sense of where you want the reader's eye to go.
• You get what makes an ad or email actually perform, not just look nice. Our stuff needs to drive clicks and sales, so you can explain why your design choices work.
• Figma is a must. It's what we use to pass designs to our email team. Canva, Photoshop, or similar are a plus.
• Comfortable switching between very different brand styles.
• Branding experience. You can help build brand guidelines for brands that don't have them.
• Reliable and organized. You can handle a few brands at once without quality slipping.

NICE TO HAVE

• You're into the hobby world yourself: anime, trading card games (Magic, Pokémon, sports cards), collectibles. You'll design better for these brands if you actually get them.
