Video Editor Wanted – YouTube (Multiple Channels) | Long-Term

We run multiple YouTube channels. Scripts and voiceovers are provided; your job is to edit.
Quality Standards (Shorts + Long Form)
1. Pacing
Remove all dead air and filler
Keep clips tight, no long static visuals
Everything should feel smooth and intentional
2. Movement
Add light zoom or motion to static images
Subtle transitions only, nothing distracting
Keep visuals dynamic at all times
3. Sound Design (very important)
Add sound effects when images appear/disappear
Add impact sounds for dramatic ---------- nts
No silent visual swaps, sound enhances energy, never overpowers
4. Visual Sync
Person mentioned ? show that exact person
Event mentioned ? show that event
No random filler visuals
5. Retention
Pattern interrupts every 5–8 seconds (cut, zoom, text, sound)
Shorts: hook must land in the first 2 seconds
The goal: every video feels Dynamic. Premium. High-retention. Not basic.

You need:
1+ year YouTube editing experience
Proficient in Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or CapCut Pro
Captions, text overlays, B-roll, transitions
Thumbnail creation (Canva or Photoshop)
Reliable and meets deadlines

Submit a sample edited video (YouTube link or Drive)
Agree to a paid trial edit before being hired
Applications without a sample will not be reviewed.
