About the Role

Social Media Manager

We are looking for an experienced Social Media Manager to join our creative agency, managing content and social channels for clients across hospitality, events, wellness, professional services and other industries.

This role requires someone who is creative, highly organised and confident managing multiple client accounts. You should understand how to turn brand ideas, business updates and raw assets into consistent, engaging social content.

You must be comfortable working to quick turnaround times, responding to feedback and adapting content as client priorities change.

Key Responsibilities
Manage multiple client accounts across Instagram, Facebook , TikTok and LinkedIn.
Develop practical content strategies based on each client’s brand, audience and business goals.
Create and manage weekly and monthly content calendars.
Write strong, accurate captions in different brand voices.
Schedule and publish posts, Reels, Stories and other social content.
Select the strongest images and video assets for each platform.
Brief designers, photographers and video editors on required content.
Create basic social graphics and content using Canva or similar tools.
Adapt content for different platforms, formats and audiences.
Monitor comments, messages, tags and community activity where required.
Research relevant trends, competitors, audio and content opportunities.
Review account performance and identify ways to improve content.
Produce clear monthly reports with useful insights and recommendations.
Manage approval processes, revisions and client feedback.
Maintain organised folders, calendars and asset libraries for every client.
Check all content carefully before publication.
Essential Requirements
Minimum of two years’ professional social media management experience.
Experience managing several client or brand accounts simultaneously.
Strong knowledge of Instagram, Facebook , TikTok and LinkedIn.
Excellent written and spoken English.
Strong copywriting, spelling, grammar and proofreading skills.
Ability to adapt tone of voice across different brands and industries.
Good understanding of social media strategy, content planning and audience engagement.
Experience using Meta Business Suite and social scheduling platforms.
Working knowledge of Canva or similar design software.
Good visual judgment when selecting photographs, video and graphics.
Understanding of short-form video, Reels and platform-native content.
Ability to interpret performance data and explain it clearly.
Excellent attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
Ability to manage multiple deadlines and approval processes.
Confidence receiving creative feedback and applying changes accurately.
Reliable access to high-speed internet and a suitable remote working environment.
The Ideal Candidate

You understand that effective social media management involves more than filling a content calendar. You can identify what makes each client different and translate that into content people will genuinely notice and engage with.

You are creative but commercially aware. You understand how content can support bookings, ticket sales, enquiries, brand awareness and customer loyalty without making every post feel like an advertisement.

You communicate clearly, manage your workload independently and remain flexible when schedules or client priorities change. You take ownership of your accounts and ensure every caption, tag, graphic and scheduled post is accurate before it goes live.

Application

Please include:

A short introduction outlining your social media experience.
Examples of accounts you currently manage or have managed previously.
A portfolio containing captions, campaigns, content calendars or social graphics.
Examples of measurable account growth or campaign results.
Details of the platforms and scheduling tools you may have used.
Your general availability and typical approach to content planning.
